Weekly Prayer (1/19)

Father, thank You again for alerting us that 2026 will be tumultuous and stormy. We hear You saying to us, as You did Paul through the angel, “Fear not.” We know You are leading us on our journey, and the storms will lead us to revival, just as occurred with Paul in Malta. Your purposes will be established and fulfilled.

Give Your people hearts of faith and backbones of steel. Give them warrior spirits and great determination. Keep them strong and focused.

Give much wisdom to the leaders You have raised up at this time. Give them revelation – insights from heaven – on how to bring change and steward it. Give them the hearts of reformers, intent on seeing our nation healthy again. And protect them.

Most of all, we ask You to exalt the Lord Jesus through a world-changing revival. Give Him a billion-soul-expansion of His Kingdom in this hour.  We declare that God changes the times and seasons, and He pilots our ship. We will not fear.

All of this we ask in Yeshua’s name. Amen.

Pray for America: Joel’s Army Prayer Points (1/11)

1. Worship God, pray for revival and awakening, youth, new breed of warriors, and bring communism down.
2. Pray for Trump Admin/Cabinet, Elon Musk protection, wisdom, discernment, in each step God has given him to Make America Great Again. Pray for grace and unity for the nation in this time of uprooting corruption. One Nation Under God!
3. Economy– something is restraining it, it should’ve picked up by now, pray for the release. Pray over blackrock and what that represents, deep state power and control via wars.
4. Pray for media – legacy media and tech. Pray for restraints on the tech revolution, this weight must fall, and they are only advancing it toward an ungodly globalist agenda.
5. Pray for Academia – pray for an eradication of communism, cultural Marxist ideology from educational system. Pray for school choice, 1776 curriculum, resurgence of patriotism.
6. Repent for bloodletting and call in a culture of life. Include abortion all 50 states and human trafficking.
7. Pray for ongoing wars – WW3 efforts via Russia/ukraine & Israel/Middle East, Middle East – Islamic world dominion machine expose and bring it down. Pray against planned chaos by Islamic extremists.
8. Pray against Chaos– pray against sleeper agents here in America. Pray for complete exposure of them as well as their funding. Pay against no kings protests/riots. Pray against false flags and weather manipulation.
9. Pray for this generation (give special attention to youth) to rise up in the fire of God. Pray for pure streams of revival to prepare and equip this generation for their destiny in God.
10. Pray for the protection of ICE (Mexican cartels have placed bounties on them) and conservatives.
11. Political realignment. Pray for exposure of the rainbow coalition. Minorities who Chinese/Marxist rally to get out the vote. They will use them to try to flip seats in 2026 and 2028. We need to thwart their plans.
12. Pray against the chaos and fraud in Minneapolis and successful law enforcement and investigations.

   • Protect the meeting between Netanyahu and Trump, keeping them from pride!

   • Pray that the Messianic body in Israel and America will be alert to Trump’s praise of Erdogan!
   • Give thanks for Israel’s cooperation with Cyprus and Greece; pray that their goal to resist Turkish aggression will be accomplished!
   • Pray that God will encourage believers to boldly warn their nations of the judgment they face for betraying Israel!
3. Prayer for the Gaza Situation
   • Pray that God will cause factional divisions in the Hamas leadership election! May the IDF seize the throat of Gaza’s enemies!
   • Pray that God will enable the IDF to renew equipment and reinforce troops during the ceasefire!
   • Pray that God’s post-war plan be fully accomplished, unhindered by human schemes!
4. Pray for Internal and External Security
   • Pray that God controls Israel’s “chariot of sovereignty,” bringing swift victory! Give thanks for the legalization of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria!
   • Pray that the U.S. government aligns with God’s will regarding construction in Jewish communities! May U.S. Ambassador to Israel Huckabee speak boldly!
   • Pray that Israel discerns the truth about the Palestinian Authority! Pray for the dismantling of the 19 “refugee camps” under its control!
   • Pray that more Muslims see God’s greatness and turn to seek His face!
   • Give thanks for the deployment of Israel’s “Iron Fist” laser weapon system. Pray for mass production and nationwide deployment! Pray for technological improvements enabling operation in overcast conditions!
   • Pray for wisdom and strength for Israel’s drone and cyber warfare operators!
   • Give thanks for nationwide anti-regime protests in Iran. Pray God will use these protests to overthrow the current regime! Prepare a new Iranian leadership that will treat Israel well! Guide the Messianic body in Iran to pray for their nation!
   • Pray for Israel to remain vigilant against radical leaders in Syria! Deal with Qatar and Turkey according to Scripture.

3. The Rise of True Faith : The world may think that Christianity is dying out, but what is actually dying out is the “religious system as people perceive it,” and it is being replaced by the more powerful, true church that follows the Lamb!
4. Supernatural abilities and love: The true disciples will display great miracles, healings and radiance; but their most prominent characteristic will be their “love”!
5.  The core appeal: Do not focus on studying the interpretation or timeline of end-times prophecies; the most important thing is to “dwell in the Lord”; being known in heaven is more important than being known on earth!

 Do not despair at the low spiritual state of the body of Christ as we begin this new year. This is the condition we find God’s people in virtually every time in Scripture and in history before a great move of God breaks out, and this is the case now. We may be in the driest of times, but a great spark is going to ignite them, and a great fire will sweep forth, consuming the “wood, hay, and stubble” and purifying the “gold, silver, and precious stones.”

What is about to ignite on the earth is not just a great move of God but the greatest move of God there has ever been. This is the beginning of the harvest that Jesus said would be the end of this age. More people will come to the Lord in the next few years than in all of history before this time. More of the glory of the Lord and His miraculous works will be seen in these times than in all of previous history.

It is one of the greatest honors just to live in this time, and while we appreciate this, we have much work to do. It is a glorious work, and it will be the marvel of the ages. To be yoked with the Lord in His work is the most wonderful thing we can experience, but we are not just called to do but also to become like Him.

We cannot measure the times we’re entering by what we have experienced in the past. Jesus said in John 16:33, “In the world you have tribulation,” and He told us we would at the end of this age experience the worst that the world has ever known. But if we stay close to Him, we will hardly notice them.

Do not waste another day not drawing closer to Him. This year, a grace that has not been experienced before will be given to those who seek Him. How much do we desire to know Him? That is what we will have. He has saved the best for last, and we are about to see and experience the best. The best of all will be His nearness to His people.

The Lord has had His people praying for nearly two thousand years for His kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. We are here now to help prepare the way for the Lord and His kingdom. To do this, we must live in His kingdom—His domain—now.

The world is about to see demonstrated what it is like to live in His kingdom, and it is going to be more wonderful than we can imagine—literally. The supernatural power that His people will see will eclipse even the wildest imaginations of the wildest movies, but even those will be eclipsed by the wonderful nearness of the Lord to His people.

The key to seeing His greater works is to get closer to Him. When His works are done by His people, it is Him doing His works through them. The answer to every question we have is Him. It’s not just that He has the answers, but He is the Answer. Just as all of the promises of God are in Him (see 2 Corinthians 1:19), so are all of the provisions of God. Don’t just seek the provisions, but seek the Provider.

The Lord is sending a great grace to help those who seek Him keep their attention on Him. This is so they receive everything He paid the price for us to have at the cross. This grace is His manifest presence, which is the most wonderful, fulfilling, and empowering thing we can experience on this earth. The Lord is about to become closer to His people than He has ever been.

This grace of His manifest presence is His grace abounding where sin abounds. Sin and darkness will be abounding, but this will only make His light shine brighter. You were made for this. If you are here now, you were made to carry this light.

We are entering the final stages of preparation for the harvest that Jesus said would be the end of this age. This will be the greatest ingathering of believers the world has ever had. It will be the best of times, but for those who are not prepared for it and are married to this world, it will overwhelm and, in many cases, destroy what has been built.

Many of the largest and seemingly strongest Christian organizations and churches will be washed away in the flood of new believers, because they are not prepared. They will not be prepared because they built on programs and strategies rather than on the Lord Himself, the only Foundation that can bear the weight of what is soon to be upon us.

The world will consider this the destruction of Christianity, and it will destroy the Christianity they know but not the faith that heaven recognizes. What will emerge will be stronger than any of the institutions of Christianity have ever been, and it will prevail against all of the gates of hell that come against it. It will prevail because it will be built by and with those who have followed the Lamb, who is also “the Captain of the hosts” of the Lord.

Though the world will think for a time that it has vanquished Christianity from the earth, the true disciples will emerge in the power and truth in which Jesus walked. It will spread so fast and deep that the world will start to think this new expression of Christianity is taking over the world. Even with their extraordinary anointing, the brilliance of their light, and the astonishing power for healing, deliverance, and miracles, the true messengers of the Lord will be known even more for their love.

Though evil will also manifest in unprecedented maturity and power, the light of those who love and preach the truth will easily dispel the darkness that has kept the nations in bondage to evil. The truth will be seen as more powerful than any lie, and the light will be seen as more powerful than all darkness. Then, the King Himself will appear in all of His glory to establish His kingdom.

This may seem too simplistic for popular eschatology, and this is not comprehensive, but it is the message I was given. All true, biblical prophecy will be fulfilled, but not necessarily according to human interpretations. We will understand this in the light of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, who may seem to now be absent but is presently preparing for what is about to come.

It will help when those following the Lord learn not to try to make events fit into their expectations or interpretations and learn to not be beguiled from the simplicity of following the Lord. It is not nearly as important to know the prophecies and events as it is to be in the Lord’s will, to abide in Him. We can know all of the prophecies accurately (which no one does) but be in jeopardy if we are not in the Lord’s will. We can know the prophecies and have accurate expectations of them, but we will be led far from the Lord and His will if we do not keep paramount doing His will.

In all that is about to unfold, we must keep foremost in our devotion that it is not as important to be known on earth as it is to be known in heaven. We must seek to know the Lord and to be known by Him above all else. Doing His will must be our food, and loving Him and His ways will be the strongest shelter.

Even the world’s most exciting sports and entertainment are about to seem boring compared to what the Lord is doing. Those who follow Him are getting their front row seats for the greatest show the earth has ever seen.

Key Scripture: Isaiah 21:5–8 “Prepare a feast and set watch; eat and drink! Arise, O leaders, anoint your shields.”

On January 1, 2026, I (Prophet James Goll) received a vision: dominoes were being meticulously arranged. In the vision, I saw a divine finger – possibly representing God, or Jesus, referred to as “that finger” – touch the first domino, triggering a chain reaction of falling dominoes. This symbolizes the nations aligning themselves, and the divine touch becoming the starting point for catalytic change.

The Lord instructed, “Set aside a watchman, and let him proclaim what he sees.” The watchman listened attentively and said, “There is a lion, my Lord.”

“There is a lion, my Lord” may symbolize a powerful, divine anointing being released. The lion has roared, announcing the coming of transformation. Streets around the world are filled with radical worship and praise, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom and liberation – yet another wave of freedom reminiscent of past historical events.

We are at a time when the dominoes are beginning to fall and turmoil is intensifying. Treasures are born from pressure, formed in darkness to shine in the night.

Nations are aligning one after another, and the question arises: who will be next? Colombia? Cuba? The left claims foreign powers are manipulating self-determination, while the far right’s greedy motives threaten the economy. Yet, the righteous judge sees all, and the final word remains in His hands. This is a turbulent time, but it will also bring an unprecedented global harvest in human history. We must wield the sickle – the harvest is ripe. Those who wrote these words were moved by God. Alignment for battle, the falling dominoes, herald an era of transformation.

However, we do face stumbling blocks. One is greed, the other is offense. On the one hand, this is a trap and a stumbling block set in a time of being “stirred up.” How greedy can people become? The other stumbling block at work is offense. Is everything technically correct? Has every procedure been completed? Has every word been carefully chosen and every eye been scrutinized? There will inevitably be someone shouting “Foul!” You crown him king—but that’s not the essence of the matter. It’s the release of the lion’s anointing, the roaring lion.

Greed and offense are the traps set during this sacred time. How will people respond – will greed prevail, or will kindness and care for others reign supreme? This is the golden opportunity to reap the rewards.

This historic moment is reminiscent of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the subsequent transformation of Europe. Today, walls are crumbling in the Western Hemisphere, impacting economies, freedoms, and the spread of the gospel across the globe. Let us mobilize to welcome the ripe harvest.

I was deeply drawn to this simple vision: a row of dominoes, arranged in sequence, being set in motion. Do not be afraid, nor boast, but stand where you are in this age. Amen!

Fear and Favor

As I sought the Lord regarding the new year, I heard the Lord say that it will be a season of FEAR and FAVOR! But I felt it was important to remind us all that we don’t need to be afraid of the fear of the Lord.

The fear of the Lord is a good thing! It’s the beginning of wisdom (Psalm 111:10). In Acts chapters 4 and 5, we see God moving in powerful ways in the midst of some challenging situations. The apostles were arrested and threatened, stirring up fear in their midst. Yet it resulted in a manifestation of God’s presence, as He shook the place where they were gathered. This brought a healthy, reverential fear of the Lord to all who were present.

The next thing we read about is the tremendous favor of the Lord resting mightily on all of them. In Acts chapter 5, we see the incident in which Ananias and Sapphira lied to Peter and the Holy Ghost about the money they were giving and were instantly struck dead. The fear of the Lord broke out over all of the community, followed by an increase in God’s favor—evidenced by signs, wonders, miracles, and many people getting saved—bringing increase, fulfillment, and blessings. I believe it is going to be that kind of year.

This year we must embrace the fear of the Lord in a new way in order to experience the fullness of God’s favor.

Finding Your Assignment

Every one of us as Believers must recognize that God has a specific assignment for each of us to accomplish. Often when prophetic words are being released, God is highlighting giftings, callings, and spiritual assignments He has designated for the individual person.

You may be wondering how to discover and receive your spiritual assignment. First, examine your passion. Ask yourself, “What touches my heart?” Then, find your purpose. Sometimes your pain will reveal God’s purpose so you can comfort others with the same comfort you yourself have been comforted with.

Next, spiritual assignments can be discovered on your journey of progress, which means obeying and doing what God asks of you. Even the small things often open doors for the next thing God has for you to do.

Finally, your assignment will involve an experience of God’s power. Identify your gifts and abilities. These things will help you understand God’s plan for your life and feed the fulfillment of your prophetic assignment from the Lord.

The Assault on Your Assignment

In 2025, however, it became clear that as we pursued our spiritual assignments, there was an assault on our assignments. Many people we know, myself included, have faced unprecedented challenges designed to stop us from fulfilling all God has spoken.

It was quite the year, but let’s pause and give thanks to the Lord for His presence and incredible sustaining grace! If you are called to do something great for God, then you will face great obstacles in order to fulfill it!

Adam and Eve experienced a similar assault. They were created in God’s image and likeness and were called to represent Him in the earth. God gave them an assignment, a mandate: “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion” (Genesis 1:28 WEB).

He has given each of us a similar mandate. Decree this out loud: God, fashioned me to be fruitful! I am called to multiply! I was created to fill the earth with God’s glory! I was made to have authority and rule and reign in this life with Jesus Christ! (Photo via Unsplash)

Adam and Eve were living in Paradise, the Garden of Eden, which translates to mean a fenced in area of pleasure (see Strong’s H1588 and H5731).

Yet, there was an assault on their assignment. What was the assault? It’s very similar to how the enemy assaults us today. First of all, the enemy came with seduction: the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life (1 John 2:16). He came using subtle schemes, tempting them to do what was forbidden.

Second, he used deception and got them to believe a lie, or even half-truths, especially about their identity. This kind of distortion of truth will always lead to rebellion, which causes us to go against the very authority that was set in our lives to bless us. It becomes “as the sin of witchcraft” (1 Samuel 15:23) and disrupts the fulfillment of the mission.

Whatever challenge you have faced, the enemy’s goal has been to get you to doubt God, give up, and quit your assignment. Don’t do it! Stay in faith. Walk in grace and fulfill your assignment!

Jesus, the Second Adam, also had an assignment. He was sent to reveal the heart of the Father, to destroy the works of the devil, and to restore man back to God. Yet, even Jesus had a major assault on His assignment.

He was tempted by the devil in the wilderness. The religious spirit wanted to kill Him. He faced the internal conflict of His soul, sweating blood and asking the Father if there was another way to fulfill His assignment, but then arising in a resolute decree: “not My will, but Yours, be done” (Luke 22:42). He battled rejection from the womb to the tomb of His life, as He came to His own and His own rejected Him (John 1:11), yet He was faithful to fulfill every part of His assignment, including dying a cruel death on the cross.

The question each of us must answer in 2026 is this: Can God trust me with His assignment for my life?

David at Ziklag

2026 is going to be like David’s recovery at Ziklag. If you recall, in 1 Samuel 30, David and his mighty men were off fighting God’s battles against the Philistines. While they were fulfilling their assignment, the Amalekites attacked their camp at Ziklag, carrying away their wives, children, and possessions. When David and his men arrived home and discovered what had occurred, they were in such despair, David’s men even thought about killing him. But David inquired of the Lord.

God’s word to him then is what He is speaking to us for 2026: PURSUE, OVERTAKE, and RECOVER ALL! That must be our decree. When the enemy assaults our assignment, we must rise up and take back everything he stole and recover all. Whatever you lost in 2025—joy, peace, hope, love, health, confidence, finances, etc.—rise up and pursue, overtake, and recover all. Disrupt and disappoint the enemy’s assault on your assignment by launching your own assault on his. Make the devil pay!

My Prophetic Journey: The Years 2021–2026

In 2021, while seeking the Lord for that year, God gave me an unusual instruction. I was to examine the Strong’s Concordance numbers associated with the year 2021. For those that are unfamiliar with this Bible resource, it connects the Hebrew and Greek words in Scripture to numbers for easy access and definitions. What I discovered was very interesting for that year and for each subsequent year since.

Each year brought a connected emphasis of what God is speaking to the Body of Christ that will assist us in accomplishing our assignments. A word for a year does not start and stop with the calendar, but one word connects and continues with the subsequent years, bringing more clarity and emphasis into each season. Here is what God has said to me along this prophetic journey.

Year 2021

The Hebrew word for entry 2021 in Strong’s is hotsen (Strong’s H2021), meaning “a weapon of war,” or “chariot.” It is from an unused root meaning “to be sharp or strong.”

What is God saying through this? As we are endeavoring to press into our personal, prophetic assignments, we must rise up and fight with all our might. We must keep our weapons sharp, be trained in order to be skilled in their use, and be willing to take them out of their sheaths and quivers and place them into our hands to wield and war with to accomplish God’s missions in this season! He is giving us spiritual weapons, but it is our responsibility to take them in our hands and fight!

Year 2022

The Hebrew word for entry 2022 in Strong’s is har (Strong’s H2022), meaning “mountain” or “hill country,” and can symbolize a nation. The Greek word for entry 2022 is epicheó (Strong’s G2022), meaning “to pour upon.” God says He is preparing to use us, His Ekklesia, to pour out His Spirit upon the mountains of culture and even upon nations. He is going to release an outpouring that will cause dreams, visions, and prophecies to be released.

The only place in Scripture epicheó is found is in the story of the Good Samaritan, as found in Luke 10. If you recall, a man was robbed on the road to Jerusalem and left for dead. A priest and a Levite, supposed spiritual men, saw him but passed him by—too busy to stop and help, and unwilling to be detoured or sullied by the mission of caring for the hurting and helpless right in front of them. But a Samaritan, despised by the Jews, saw the man, stopped and cared for him, and poured (epicheó) oil and wine into his wound. He took him to an inn and helped him until he was made whole, and was willing to pay whatever price to see him restored.

God is challenging us to be ready for divine interruptions and diversions. God may give us an unexpected detour or “interruption” on the journey of our assignments to “pour upon” someone in need, who may actually be the real mission and purpose God has given to us in this season. Pouring out upon the hurting and broken is how we are going to see the seven mountains impacted for the Kingdom of God in this hour!

Year 2023

The Hebrew word for entry 2023 is hor (Strong’s H2023), meaning two mountains in Palestine. This speaks of the double portion. It’s time to receive the double portion of God’s grace and power by the Holy Spirit as the inheritance of the Father’s blessing!

The Greek word for entry 2023 is epichorégeó, meaning to “lavishly supply” (Bible Hub, Strong’s G2023, HELPS Word-Studies). What a word! If you are like me, the assignment of the Lord costs money. But this word “lavish” means “elaborate,” “luxurious,” and “sumptuously rich,” and its synonym is “unrestrained.” This implies unrelenting, extravagant generosity.

Epichorégeó further means “to supply,” “to provide,” “to furnish abundantly,” and “to properly, lavishly supply, as it is suitable to outfit all that is needed to accomplish a grand objective” (Bible Hub, Strong’s G2023, HELPS Word-Studies). In a literal sense, in classical Greek culture, the word related to someone who gave on behalf of the choir. It references a choir, or someone with a grand vision who has a wealthy benefactor that supplies all they have need of to accomplish their mission in abundance.

I have good news! Jehovah Jireh is our wealthy benefactor and longs to supply our every need as we accomplish our assignments.

Second Corinthians 9:10–11 says, “Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God” (NIV).

We will be blessed as God releases epichorégeó, a lavish supply, over our lives in order to accomplish His missions!

Year 2024

The Hebrew word for entry 2024 is hara (Strong’s H2024), which means a mountain in Media. This is significant for two reasons. First, God said to me that it is time to deal with the media mountain. He is going to expose the false prophets and prognosticators who are purposely and deceptively promoting false narratives through the media. He is simultaneously launching some Believers into new endeavors in the media (television, social media, podcasts, YouTube channels, etc.) with fresh creativity, ingenuity, and vision.

At the same time, we need to understand that Media was an actual country, which became known in ancient times as Persia or, in more modern times, as Iran.

The day before the Hamas attack in Israel, on October 7, 2023, my wife felt strongly that we were entering a time where the Prince of Persia was rising again. This is the spirit behind all the antisemitism and violence against Israel, and a spirit withstanding and resisting all God wants to do in the nations. Part of our assignment is to stand against this spirit, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, advance God’s Kingdom, and believe for our nations to stay in right alignment with Israel in this hour. (Photo via Pikist)

The Greek word for entry 2024 is epichorégia (Strong’s G2024), which means “supply.” It is used in Ephesians 4:16 when speaking of the Body and “that which every joint supplies,” and again in Philippians 1:19, when it speaks of “the supply of the Spirit.” God has a saints movement that must be supplied by His Spirit, and our assignment is to know our part and do our part. Every person is a vital member and is needed to supply its part for the whole to be edified! Every person has an assignment, and it is key to understand what it is and fulfill it, faithfully!

Year 2025

The Hebrew word for entry 2025 is harel (Strong’s H2025), which means the “mount of God” or “the altar” of God. This is clearly a place of dedication, sacrifice, consecration, and a memorial. We must be diligent to build an altar before the Lord on a regular basis.

The Greek word for entry 2025 goes along with this. It is the word epichrió (Strong’s G2025), which means “to anoint” and “to smear.” So as we build an altar for the Lord, it becomes a new place of being smeared with His anointing. We know the anointing is powerful, and it destroys the yoke of the enemy! The root of this word is chrió (Strong’s G5548), meaning “to anoint,” and akin to it is chroamai (Strong’s G5530), which means to furnish all that is needed for a task, or we could say, all that is need for your assignment.

Year 2026

Which all brings us to 2026! The Hebrew word for entry 2026 is harag (Strong’s H2026), meaning “to kill” violently, “to slay,” and “to destroy.” It carries the connotation of the wrath or judgment of God. This is exactly what Jesus bore for us when He died a cruel, violent death on the cross. He took our punishment and became our sacrifice. He suffered this so He could destroy the works of the enemy, so He could be our champion hero who fights for us.

God decrees, “Vengeance is Mine!” (Deuteronomy 32:35). That means God is just and knows how to dispense His judgment rightly and righteously in this season!

In Scripture it says that we have to be careful not to allow the fear of man to rule us and keep us from fulfilling our assignments. For man can, at worst, only kill our bodies; but we should fear God, rather than man, who can both kill our bodies and send our souls to Hell (Matthew 10:28). Yes, God will fight for us as our Champion Defender, but He will also deal with us rightly as the Righteous Judge. Wisdom says we need to receive the reverential fear of the Lord in our lives, and in the life of the Church, so we can experience His favor this year as never before!

The Greek word for entry 2026 is epoikodomeó (Strong’s G2026), which means “to build upon” a sure foundation. Building upon the right foundation releases God’s favor!

First Corinthians 3:9–19 tells us the only foundation is the life and ministry of Jesus: “For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.  By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light.” (1 Corinthians 3:9–13 NIV)

How we have built will be tested by fire to see if we have built on the right foundation or the things of this world that will only fade away or be consumed in the fire. God wants to know, have you built on the Rock or the sand? The sand is when we build on the ways of this world, following its trends and opinions. If we are built on the Rock, we will stand in the storm.

There are going to be some tests of fires and storms this year, but if we are built on a right foundation, we will not just survive, we will thrive.

First Corinthians 3:13–15 continues with this admonition: “It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward (favor). If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames (fear)” (NIV, parentheses added). (Photo via Pexels)

Verses 16–19 go on to further warn us:

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.

“Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become ‘fools’ so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: ‘He catches the wise in their craftiness'” (NIV).

God is dealing with those who seek to destroy His house through false teachings, impurity, and the ways of the world, thus creating confusion and division. God is not mocked. Do not be deceived by building with the wisdom of this world, for if you do, God is not playing games in this time!

As I looked at this year, not only in the Strong’s Concordance for entry 2026, but at the number twenty-six itself, I was encouraged by two additional words that will help us overcome the assault on our assignments and fulfill all of the call of God in this year.

The Hebrew word for entry 26 is the name “Abigail” (Strong’s H26), which means “my Father’s joy.” We must be intentional this year in accessing the joy of our heavenly Father. His joy is our strength and gives us supernatural abilities.

Jesus was the very expression of the Father’s heart and glory. We must walk in the fullness of this during 2026, regardless of what we may face, in order to accomplish our assignments.

Additionally, Abigail represents God’s wisdom and favor in the midst of foolish men. If you recall the story in 1 Samuel 25, Abigail was married to Nabal, whom the Bible says was a fool, for he refused to honor David who was God’s chosen king. He did not fear the Lord. Yet, Abigail interceded with wisdom, saving her household and also saving David from unnecessary bloodshed. As a result, when God dealt with her husband and he died, Abigail received favor and became David’s wife.

The number 26 in the Greek entry is a very powerful and very familiar word, agape (Strong’s G26), which is God’s divine, giving, sacrificial, affectionate, perfect love. It is that which is of God’s heart and character. It is truly the only thing that will last through the fire.

First Corinthians 13 tells us agape love is the most important thing to operate in as we are doing the will of God. Everything else is worthless—even extravagant giving, prophetic accuracy, powerful faith and ministry, and great wisdom. It all comes to nothing without the motivation and character of agape love in our lives! It must become the gold standard and the right foundation on which everything else is built and becomes profitable.

So, this year, as we pursue our assignments in the Lord, remember God is love. We need to let His love fill and fulfill us. We must receive the Father’s heart of love and favor towards us, and build on sure foundations of wisdom and the fear of the Lord.

May God abundantly bless each one of us as we overcome the assault on our assignments and fulfill our call as part of His Ekklesia in this year of the Lord’s favor!

Thirty-six years to the day of Noriega’s capture in Panama (January 3, 1990), Maduro was captured (January 3, 2026).

About twenty-six years from the time Chavez took over Venezuela as a dictator, Maduro fell and was removed.

These are not accidents. We are watching prophetic cycles unfold within this season in the earth.

Areas Marked for Joy

Word of the Lord received on December 12, 2023:

And thus says the Lord, “This JOY shall be written in areas of the earth. There are areas of the earth marked for this JOY, O ISRAEL, O AMERICA, O FRANCE, O ENGLAND, O VENEZUELA, O MEXICO, O ARIZONA, O MICHIGAN, O NEW YORK, O CALIFORNIA, O OREGON, O SOUTH AFRICA, O CHINA! THEY ARE MARKED FOR JOY TO COME…

“January is marked,” says the Lord. “January is marked.”

Judgment Against Communism

Word of the Lord received on October 25, 2024:

“FOR THERE SHALL BE A RUSH, RUSH IN RUSSIA—A PUSH—UNUSUAL EVENTS, THAT THE GOVERNMENT SHALL TREMBLE. AND I AM DOING,” SAYS THE LORD, “I AM DOING IT!

“Your secret meetings, your small summits, shall be exposed—what you have met about. For you are meeting to find a way to subdue Israel; you meet to find a way to interfere in the changing of the guard in America; you meet to see how you can bankrupt Israel, America—how you can further infiltrate Venezuela, how you can destroy El Salvador, how you can move closer into the waters of America and intimidate with your submarines and missiles to strong arm America into submission.

“There is a judgment,” says the Lord, “I issued against communism, and on that scroll there are DECADES of charges that have now come to their fullness. And it shall see a severe weakening of its foundation and sudden overturning of some of these nations who meet, as I the Lord SHALL THROW THEM, MYSELF, OUT OF THEIR SEATS.

“MARXISM HAS A JUDGMENT UPON IT,” says the Lord. “AND AS THEY GREEDILY MEET IN THAT AREA OF THE EARTH, POOR COUNSEL SHALL BE PUT IN THE MOUTH OF THEIR ADVISORS IF THEY TRIFLE TOO CLOSE AND INTERFERE IN WHAT I THE LORD AM DOING. “New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela.”

Judgment on the Leader of Venezuela

Word of the Lord received on October 7, 2025:

“The window is closing on the leader of Venezuela,” says the Lord. “Grace has been offered; judgment is coming,” says the Lord, “a catastrophic fracture to the infrastructure of Venezuela,” says the Lord. “For in this time, there is a shift that is meant to fracture the platforms of leadership within the earth who have trifled in MY business,” says the Lord, “who have attempted to snuff out MY Word,” says the Lord.

January of Justice

Word of the Lord received on December 20, 2025:

“As they secretly make dark deals to keep their seats, the scandal that coils over shall intensify in order to bring forth a standard of accountability,” says the Lord, “against corrupt agents who are tethered to the kingdom of darkness and groups who funnel terror,” says the Lord. “You shall watch this unfold with a ‘January of Jeers,'” says the Lord. “The enemy may attempt to cause fear to open gates; however, I the Lord shall cause jeers at those who are involved in such acts,” says the Lord.

“A ‘January of Justice,'” says the Lord, “shall lead to a ferocious February, setting up for a ROAR in March,” says the Lord.

“The January of Justice shall cause much shock,” says the Lord. “It shall shake the media,” says the Lord. “Plots uncovered shall even rattle the Cabinet,” says the Lord, “so they re-evaluate their relationships with Me; and some will fully come unto Me, the Lord thy God, from such,” says the Lord.

“In January,” says the Lord, “a very large, windy turn shall be entered in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The leadership of Canada is about to be hit with a woe for the shedding of innocent blood,” says the Lord, “a woe that will cause an outcry in the nation, a woe that will expose the dark deals made with principalities and the nations they gatekeep for,” says the Lord, “selling the lives of their own people for their security,” says the Lord. “That deal and its inner workings shall be exposed this coming year,” says the Lord.

Word for Iran

Word of the Lord received on July 3, 2025:

And the Spirit of the Lord says this day, “Posture your hearts, MY people. Posture your hearts before Me,” says the Lord, “as I, the Lord, am mightily moving within the earth. Posture yourselves with a cloak of reverence and humility,” says the Lord, “for My might and power are about to bring the FEAR of the Lord into your nation and the nations of the earth,” says the Lord.

“My servant Daniel fasted and prayed and postured himself to receive the message from Gabriel,” says the Lord, “as the Prince of Persia and the Prince of Greece both arose to oppose in that time,” says the Lord. “Persia has been warned,” says the Lord, “to stop the shedding of innocent blood, yet they have postured in defiance before Me,” says the Lord, “and dug in their heels and stiffened their necks,” says the Lord. “And for such, the neck of Iran shall now be broken,” says the Lord, “and their oil, their commodities from within the earth shall now be pinched shut,” says the Lord. “For the leader has but a moment left before a great implosion from within.

“For this is the time of the Esther 2 moment within nations,” says the Lord, including Iran,” says the Lord, “including America,” says the Lord, “guards conspiring against their leaders, for evidence shall rise to the surface of such,” says the Lord.

Word for Minnesota

Word of the Lord received on July 18, 2025:

“Minnesota shall have a changing of the guard in such scandal; there will be no way for leadership to continue,” says the Lord.

Word of the Lord received on October 25, 2024:

Thus says the Lord, “Minnesota will begin to turn on its own,” says the Lord, “for that spirit of provocation has gone forth to resurrect the anger of George Floyd, the anger and the defiance and the violence that went into the soil of that state.”

Word of the Lord received on September 4, 2025:

“You have a tether to the violence of George Floyd attempting to be resurrected to spill enough blood to make attempts on the lives of leadership in the highest seats.”

Word of the Lord Going Into 2026

Word of the Lord received on December 20, 2025:

“I, the Lord, the Alpha and Omega, sit on the highest throne. Come unto Me, petition Me in this hour, for I the Lord am hearkening unto the voice of My people who have been faithful, and their needs bring them before Me,” says the Lord. “State your case; the heart of the giver shall be blessed,” says the Lord. (Photo via Unsplash)

“Amongst the tumult, I the Lord shall pour incredible blessings upon My faithful ones,” says the Lord, “that they [may] overflow and prosper to do the work I have commissioned. Those who speak truth and are willing to say what others remain silent on to keep what they have built—those I shall greatly bless,” says the Lord. “Those verdicts and blessings shall come forth, starting [at] the end of what you call ‘December,'” says the Lord. “And it shall be a year of outpouring on My people who are willing to stand and speak the truth amongst the tumult,” says the Lord.

“I, the Lord, hold the resources; I hold the gold; I hold the silver. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. I can bless and provide no matter what earthly systems attempt to oppress,” says the Lord. “Ask of Me now,” says the Lord, “for I seek to bestow special gifts upon the faithful. For you are entering a year of great transition, great change; a repositioning of territory of voices, of physical land,” says the Lord, “that My will may go forth and the plans of the enemy be exposed, thwarted, dismantled; and sophisticated arguments to the highest areas of your nation [may] be refuted and dismantled,” says the Lord.

“I am God. There is no other. James 4:7 is a key,” says the Lord, “for the coming years, a key that will unlock great doors even for the president—if he so employs this—along with the heads of departments in their daily walk. ‘Therefore, SUBMIT TO GOD. RESIST THE DEVIL, AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU’ (James 4:7 CSB).

“And flee he shall,” says the Lord, “for those who have not watered down the power and authority from on high but are actually operating in it with the Biblical precision that brings forth results. The fervent, effectual prayers of a righteous man do indeed availeth much in an hour of confusion, tumult, turmoil, and darkness that attempts to blanket the people and nations. Fervent, effectual prayer shall tear that covering,” says the Lord.

“Time to armor up and engage and understand My legal system,” says the Lord, “that far supersedes your earthly courts. Those rulings will come down in great measure.” Thus says the Lord, in Jesus mighty name.

On Saturday, December 27th, I woke up and heard singing in my ear. God sang the most amazing tune, and this is what He said:

“I will do more than you have ever dreamed of; I will do more than you have ever dreamed of.”

As I began to pray, I saw the Lord come to me. On the wall in front of us was a large, blank canvas. To my right, I saw a table covered with paint poured into small bowls, many different colors. Some were matte, and others shimmered. I also saw a bowl of pearls and another bowl of gemstones. There were different paintbrushes laid out as well.

Then I heard the Lord say, “Let’s paint 2026 together.”

I replied, “Lord, I don’t know how to paint, and I don’t know how to draw.”

He smiled and answered, “Hold My hand and let’s paint together.”

As soon as I took His hand, I knew how to paint, and I could see what to paint.

He looked at me and said, “Let’s make it very colorful. Let’s add many roses. Let’s draw many doors and bridges.”

I noticed the canvas looked like a road map, but along the road, the Lord kept writing the word “surprise.” I didn’t know what the surprises were.

I said, “Lord, I really don’t like surprises.”

He replied, “You don’t like uncertainty, but you love surprises. Trust Me.”

In the end, I looked again and realized it wasn’t only a road map; it was a garden full of fruit. The canvas was beautiful. And the Lord said, “Welcome to 2026.”

Psalm 136: The Psalm God Highlighted for 5786/2026

As we prayed into the turning of the year—listening, waiting, and asking the Lord for His heart for what was coming—there was a moment when the direction became unmistakably clear. It wasn’t complicated, it wasn’t scattered; it was steady.

God highlighted Psalm 136.

Psalm 136 has 26 verses, and every verse ends with the same declaration: “His loyal love endures forever.”

It was as if the Lord was saying, “This is how you will walk through 2026. This is how you will remember Me. This is how you will stay steady.”

And when we reached the final verse, it landed with unusual weight, like a banner unfurling over the year ahead:

“Give thanks to the God of Heaven. His loyal love endures forever.” (Psalm 136:26 NLT)

In prayer, that phrase—”the God of Heaven”—stood out as more than a title. It sounded like an announcement, a recentering, a divine reminder that Heaven is not nervous about earth.

So we began to understand the prophetic tone: 2026 will be a “God of Heaven” year—a year where the Lord recenters His people on His sovereignty and steadies them in His enduring, loyal love.

His Loyal Love Endures Forever

Psalm 136 is not written like a private meditation. It is built like a worship liturgy—often used in call-and-response—because God knows what happens to His people under pressure. We forget. We forget what He has done. We forget who He is. We forget His track record when the strain increases and the unknown stretches out in front of us. (Photo via Pexels)

So, Psalm 136 walks through the story of God: creation, deliverance, provision, rescue. And after every line, it drives the same truth into the soul: “His loyal love endures” (NET).

That repetition is not empty. It is a holy reinforcement. It is God training His people to interpret their lives through covenant love so that no matter what they face, they will not lose the plot. In other words, Psalm 136 becomes a spiritual framework:

• When the world feels unstable, His loyal love endures forever.
• When answers take time, His loyal love endures forever.
• When warfare intensifies, His loyal love endures forever.
• When provision is needed, His loyal love endures forever.
• When rescue is required, His loyal love endures forever.

The Connection to 5786: A Year of Anchoring

As we continued praying, the Lord also brought clarity around the Hebrew year 5786. Many have recognized the significance of the “6”—often associated with the Hebrew letter vav, pictured as a hook, nail, or peg. A peg is not impressive in appearance, but it is powerful in function: it fastens, it secures, it holds under weight. It keeps what matters from drifting. That is what this year carries: an anchoring grace. And that is why Psalm 136 is so fitting, because Psalm 136 is not only a song; it is a “peg-psalm.” It fastens the heart to what cannot move: God’s loyal love endures forever.

So the Lord is not only speaking comfort, He is establishing stability—not a stability based on perfect circumstances, but a stability based on a perfect God.

The Posture for the Year: Thanksgiving

Psalm 136 begins where anchored living always begins: “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His faithful love endures forever” (Psalm 136:1 NLT).

Thanksgiving is more than politeness; it is alignment. It is the soul agreeing with Heaven before the mind negotiates with fear. This is why God highlighted Psalm 136 in prayer, because thanksgiving is how hearts stay fastened when the winds rise. Gratitude keeps the spirit positioned under the rule of the God of Heaven, instead of under the tyranny of anxious interpretation.

The Refrain That Will Carry Us

As we prayed for the year, God did not merely give information; He gave a refrain. And a refrain is meant to be repeated until it becomes the way you think.

2026/5786 will be a year of anchoring—not because nothing will happen, but because God is ensuring His people do not drift while it happens. So we step into the year with Psalm 136 as our psalm, our rhythm, our response: Give thanks to the God of Heaven. His loyal love endures forever.

2026: The Year of Many Colors

The Lord says, “My people, enter 2026 with thanksgiving, for I am good, and My faithful love endures forever. Do not measure My goodness by the shaking of the nations or the pressure in your own house. Measure Me by My name—the unchanging, covenant-keeping, miracle-working God.

“This year I am recentering you on My sovereignty as the God of Heaven—the God above every other god, the Lord above every other lord.

“I am the one who sits enthroned above what you cannot control, and I govern outcomes you cannot predict. Even when you feel surrounded, you are not abandoned. In fact, you will be surrounded by My walls of salvation. (Photo via Pixabay)

“I have heard your cry: ‘Lord, it’s been rough… it’s been steep.’ I have seen what you carried in silence. I have counted every tear you thought no one noticed. And I tell you, the page will turn.

“I will come to your deliverance. I will smooth out the road before you. I will make the crooked places straight and remove hidden resistance. I will go ahead of you like a loving father, clearing what has blocked you and lifting what has weighed you down. I am giving you wisdom for timing, favor for transitions, and grace for endurance.

“2026 will be the year of many colors—the year I will paint your story like a canvas, a masterpiece. Get ready to paint a new painting, one you have never seen before. I am not rewriting your story with cold ink; I am painting it with tender mercy and great love. I will bring beauty where you expected only survival.

“2026 will be a year of different crossroads and many intercessions. Do not fear the crossings, for many surprises will unfold. And I know you have said, ‘Lord, I really don’t like surprises.’ But I say to you, you don’t like uncertainty—yet you will love what I am about to reveal. Trust Me. I am not leading you into confusion; I am leading you into wonder. I am not setting traps; I am opening doors.

“Each surprise will pull a shout from deep within you, until thanksgiving becomes your language again and you find yourself saying, ‘Thank You, Lord; Your loyal love endures forever!’

“2026 will be a year where you will be so anchored in My love, like a peg driven into a sure place. Not anchored in perfect circumstances, not anchored in people’s approval, not anchored in your own strength—anchored in Me. I am fastening your life to My faithfulness. I am stabilizing what has been unstable. I am securing what has felt slippery. I am establishing boundaries you thought you had lost, and I am strengthening foundations you thought were beyond repair. I will not let the winds of the year uproot what My love is planting.

“You will not win by striving; you will win by thanksgiving. Gratitude will keep you steady when feelings fluctuate. It will lift your eyes when fear tries to pull your head down.

“You have been saying, ‘Lord, we have labored and produced only wind; nothing is alive.’ But I say, I am the God of resurrection. What looked dead is not beyond My reach. What you buried in grief, I can awaken with My breath. What you assumed was over, I can restore in a moment.

“Here is My promise to you: Your dead will live, and your bodies will rise. I will heal your body. I will strengthen you from the inside out. I will restore what has been drained, will mend what has been broken, and renew what has been weary.

“I will strengthen you and surround you with My walls of salvation. I will enlarge your capacity and extend your territory. For I Myself will honor you and restore to you your inheritance. You will not be embarrassed by your waiting. You will not be shamed by your process. I will bring you into a testimony that carries My fingerprint so you will know it was My love that did it.

“Therefore, do not enter 2026 rehearsing fear. Enter rehearsing My faithfulness—My love, My loyal love. Let your heart remember what My hands have done. Let your mouth declare what My covenant has promised. For I am the God of Heaven, and My faithful love endures forever.”

Today let us talk about breakthroughs! Breakthroughs in regions, breakthroughs in the church, in breakthroughs in people’s lives. This is an important topic for us as we enter into a season wherein God is calling the people of God to go higher in preparation for the release of His Spirit in the earth.

We will begin with Acts 16:4-5 and discuss the steps Paul took in his second missionary journey, incorporating the prophetic experiences that guided him to Philippi, and what he went through building the Church of Philippi.

Acts 16:4-5

⁴ And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem. ⁵ And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.

What decrees? The ones detailed in Acts 15. These were the guidelines for new converts—specifically Gentiles—which were decided upon by the Council in Jerusalem. Paul and Silas headed out in submission to the Apostles to distribute the message and welcome the Gentiles into the faith. What a beautiful opportunity for one of the most profound church planters in the Scriptures to embark upon for his second missionary journey.

Acts 16:6-10

⁶ Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, ⁷ after they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit (AMPC says “Spirit of Jesus”) suffered them not. ⁸ And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas. ⁹ And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. ¹⁰ And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

This is Paul’s second missionary trip and, in complete obedience to the directives from the Spirit of the Lord, Paul, in an immediate and self-sacrificing response to the vision of the man from Macedonia, is about to experience a profound harvest in Europe. And, because of his obedience, the Light is about to come on in the midst of a dark and idolatrous world.

So, let’s look at three Greek words in this passage as they demonstrate how the Lord led Paul and his team along this missionary journey.

Acts 16:6-10

⁶ Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia, ⁷ after they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit (AMPC says “Spirit of Jesus”) suffered them not. ⁸ And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas. ⁹ And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us. ¹⁰ And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

Acts 16:6, they “were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the Word in Asia.” The Greek verb here is Koluo and it conveys an intentional act of stopping, restraining, or prohibiting someone or something. In the New Testament it can appear in physical, legal, social, or spiritual settings and may be exercised either by people or by God Himself. In Acts 16:6, forbidden here refers to the Spirit’s strategic leading. This Divine hindrance is not opposition to mission, but rather guidance toward prepared fields, those ripe for the harvest.

It is important that we as Christians, recognize the difference between the enemy’s obstruction and God’s redirection to reorder our steps in accordance to His plans and purposes.

Acts 16:7, “Suffered them not” the Greek verb Eao, implies that the Spirit of Jesus would not permit them. However, this Greek word has an added element. The issue of restraint here which is presented by the Spirit of Jesus, underscores the interplay between divine sovereignty and human responsibility. It seems Paul and Jesus had a discussion over whether or not he and his team should head into Bithynia, and the Lord’s preference was for him to go the opposite direction. Paul heeded the Lord’s directive, obeying His will and not Paul’s initial intent, and as a result, he reaped a great harvest.

Acts 16:9, “vision” is very significant. The Greek noun is Hórama “to see, (spiritually and mentally”) – a vision (spiritual seeing), focusing on the impact it has on the one beholding the vision.

This is a God-initiated disclosure perceived by the human recipient, in this case Paul, with the purpose of revealing truth, directing missions, or authenticating divine action. In Scripture these visions never stand alone; they are woven into the larger fabric of redemptive history, consistently harmonizing with previous revelation and propelling the Gospel forward.

Paul obeyed the Spirit of the Lord every step of the way. From Him outright forbidding Paul to go into Asia to suffering him not (or having a conversation with him) about whether or not to enter Bithynia, to the vision of the Macedonian man to convey the seriousness “come and help us.” Paul’s missionary journey is being redirected by the Spirit of Jesus in a masterfully ordered sequence of events. There are many times when one must obey the first command to receive the next.

As I said, this is all part of the fabric of God’s redemptive plan to propel the Gospel forward, in this case, from Asia to Europe. This was significant and strategic to a regional breakthrough for the Kingdom of God. Why? On Paul’s second missionary journey, he planted nine churches. In addition, some of the most revelatory writings we read in the Scriptures are letters Paul wrote to the churches he planted here. The directives, and Paul’s immediate obedience to those directives, provide strategic redirection of Paul’s mission to accomplish God’s divine purposes in the earth.

Let’s read on:

Acts 16:11-15

¹¹ Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis; ¹² and from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.

¹³ And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither. ¹⁴ And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. ¹⁵ And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.

What a great salesperson!

This region had very little Light, but Paul, led by the Spirit, is igniting the flames within.

Jewish people were scattered throughout the known world in the diaspora. Wherever they went, if there were enough men, they would establish a synagogue. Typically, to have a synagogue—which we know was customary for Paul to go to first when embarking on an outreach in the cities he travelled through—they needed a minyan. A minyan is a quorum of 10 adult Jewish men to read through the communal prayers and for certain components of the regular daily or Shabbat services. Philippi did not have a minyan. The backup for the devout worshippers of God was to meet by the river for service. This is where Paul meets Lydia. I find it interesting that she has two verses dedicated to her conversion, yet she was so ripe for the harvest, I don’t believe she needed much more. Her home was likely the base of the Philippian Church. She is a woman of great means, a seller of purple (a trade still alive today in Thyatira or along the coast of modern-day Turkey) with a compound large enough to easily house Paul and his companions, she and her family are the first converts in Paul’s short stay in Philippi.

Acts 16:16-18 will serve as the catalyst for Paul’s next revival service although not quite as pleasant.

¹⁶ And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: ¹⁷ the same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. ¹⁸ And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

¹⁹ And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers, ²⁰ and brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city, ²¹ and teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans. ²² And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. ²³ And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely: ²⁴ who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

The jailor was unnamed. Lydia’s conversion receives two verses and a follow-up verse after Paul is set free from the jailhouse. She worshipped God but needed the revelation of Jesus. The jailor, however, remains unnamed, and yet, the account of his conversion encompasses most Acts 16. He needed not only a revelation of Jesus, but he needs a revelation of the One true God.

The jailor was a Roman, they had a god—small “g”—for everything and they incorporated into their worship the Greek gods. They believed everything was subordinate to the rule and direction of the gods and they believed they had to obtain favor of them. The Romans deified objects, planets, the earth and so on, and as their culture grew, as so often occurs, the perverse side of idolatry did as well as demonstrated by the 1000s of temple prostitutes residing at the temples of Diana and Athena. This perversion will eventually be the downfall of their civilization.  This is the cultural and religious background of this jailor. He was likely a retired Roman official, a general perhaps, who saw much on the battlefield, and now lives as a warden of a Roman prison. He is ordered to keep Paul and Silas, these “rebels to Rome” from escaping.

They went from a lovely river to a beautiful newly planted house church, to the damp and dusky inner chambers of the jailhouse within a matter of days. What is their response? As we read this, think about how you would respond.

Acts 16:25-28

²⁵ And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. ²⁶ And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed. ²⁷ And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. ²⁸ But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. 

Now, their bloodied bodies have been thrust into rusty shackles. At the very least, their legs would be placed into stocks, a very painful position that kept them completely immobilized. At most, their head and hands would be placed into wooden stocks as well. No dressing of their wounds, but rather, a violent thrusting of those aching bodies into physical bondage. It is from this place that Paul and Silas lift up their voices and sing of the praises of the King of kings. A “Church of Philippi” is born of the Word, prayer, and praise to the One Who died for them.

The earth begins to shake under the power and anointing of their response in affliction. When the servants of the Lord respond as God directs them, mountains are moved on their behalf, the Light enters the darkest corners, and cuts through the locks that hold the shackles down. The prison doors are open, and the captives are set free. God is ushering in a revival in this corner of the Roman world, one that will shake this jailor and his whole family out of their spiritual bondage.

Acts 16:29-34

²⁹ Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, ³⁰ and brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? ³¹ And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. ³² And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. ³³ And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. ³⁴ And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

Paul and Silas could have fled, leaving the Roman jailor to pay the price. According to Roman law, if a prisoner escaped, the jailor served his sentence, often with his own life.  Paul and Silas, as Roman citizens, would certainly know this. The fact that they stayed, and it appears, convinced the other prisoners to do the same, makes one wonder if the jailhouse revival began before the prison doors were ever opened. This whole event opened the eyes of this Roman jailor to see the power of the Living God in his midst. While the jailor remains unnamed, he has the most dramatic conversion in this passage.

What a contrast from Paul’s first revival meeting in Philippi! Paul goes from a wonderful worship service by the side of a beautiful river, to setting a captive girl free from demonic bondage. Revival is on the move! Imagine their surprise when they are attacked, stripped down and beaten publicly, then thrown into the inner chamber of a jailhouse. Yet, the results were the same, entire households were transformed by the Gospel message of this obedient servant of the Lord.

Two sinners form an unlikely bond as they both get saved an enter the family of God. The Church of Philippi is born in this short visit! In the film “Acts of the Apostles” they have the young slave girl, thrust from her home as she is no longer valuable to her masters, sitting in the house of Lydia. Wouldn’t that be a beautiful end to this account?

A decade later, Paul will write to the church in Philippi while sitting in Rome under house arrest awaiting trial for his supposed crimes against Rome. This is one of the most beautiful love letters in the New Testament. This Church was the first fruits of European Christianity, a message of love for those he laid his life down for, to thank them for their love and support of him all these years. He, a bondservant of the Lord, sat chained to a Roman guard 24/7 leading one after another to Jesus. His letter to them was one of love and encouragement while he himself sats in bonds. He calls them to remain united, to be of one spirit, one mind, and to stand firm striving for the faith of the Gospel. And, to follow his example working out their salvation with fear and trembling. It’s a beautiful love letter from an Apostle to this Church planted under the direction and guidance of the Lord.

What an example of how submission, obedience, and prophetic revelation breaks through the darkness in the heart of man to bring in God’s light!

I’d like to share a vision from the Lord.

December 7, 2025, The Baptism of Fire

As I laid my head on my pillow, I immediately went into a vision. It was as though I was being flown across the landscape of our nation to view church after church. I did not see the denominations; I only knew that they were churches. Some were completely dark. However, others were completely engulfed in flames. It was a fire that did not burn. It was the baptism of fire, and it was consuming them! It was a most remarkable and glorious fire, the only light in the region, and men were being drawn to it from all around the city. The vision ended.

Two things:

First, I believe the Lord is speaking to me about America specifically right now, because of the deep work He needs to do not only in this country as we war against the forces of evil in our nation, but the deep work He is doing in the Church. They say as California goes, so goes the nation. As America goes, so goes the nations. We are to be a light unto all the world, a city set upon a hill, but it’s really the Church in America that is to be the light shining brightly to draw all men unto Him. The brilliance of the Church, the House of Prayer, draws a nation upward into the plans and purposes of God and brings His Kingdom into the earth!

Second, God is trying to pave the way for His Spirit to move in the earth in this mighty end-time revival that has been prophesied about for decades. It will come in the form of our 3^rd Great Awakening and it will set the captives of not only America free, but it will sweep across nation after nation opening their eyes to the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and, regardless of their living conditions, to set those captives free from the spiritual bondages of sin and death.

The enemy knows this is coming, we forget he hangs out in the spiritual realm and hears the stirrings of revival. Remember, early in December I shared the workings of the angels of the 9Rs? Surely, the enemy sees them working too. He is doing everything he can to thwart God’s plans, to divide God’s people, and to prevent this incredible harvest. Our fight is to ensure both the spiritual work and the natural work are accomplished in preparation for that harvest.

God is directing this process. At times He outright forbids us from going in a certain direction. Other times He suffers us to shift directions. Still, at other times, He gives us a vision to call us into a certain area to target it with our prayers, with the Word, and so on, because He knows this is the hour and the fields are ripe for the harvest. He trusts us with these things because He knows we will obey His directives, and what a privilege it is to be part of His plan to set the captives free. What a joy it is to serve under the leadership of Mom all these years, and alongside a group of intercessors who are willing to obey the Lord and help us do our part in this great and mighty harvest that is coming.

I think it is important for us to think about what we would do to further revival. What steps would we take, how would we sow into it, what arenas would we be willing to break through in order to bring in His light to a desperate and darkened world?

Pray for America: Don’t Fear the Storms

Editor’s Note : This excerpt is taken from the January 9, 2026 post of “Give Him 15.”.

【 Current Events/Background:  Just after Christmas, when praying regarding the coming year, Holy Spirit said 2026 would be turbulent, but victorious and fruitful.  He led me to the account of Paul being shipwrecked by a typhoon level storm on his way to Rome (Acts 27-28). God transformed the storm into victory, causing Paul and his team to be beached on Malta, and sending great revival to the island. On Monday of this week, I wrote the first of 3 posts regarding this.

If the first week of 2026 is any indication, the word was accurate. We saw the U.S. capture Nicolas Maduro, the vicious dictator of Venezuela and one of the world’s leading drug dealers, and begin the process of taking back the oil and equipment stolen from American businesses. This will cripple China, with her huge need for the oil in Venezuela. And it begins the process of restoration for millions of Venezuelans.

The move sent shock waves of fear to despots around the world. Once again, Trump has demonstrated that he does what he says – don’t test him! He has made it clear that this hemisphere will no longer be encroached upon by evil, power hungry dictators from around the world. Columbia, Cuba, and other rogue nations have also been put on notice – there’s a new sheriff in town. Even Mexico was warned: stop the cartels or we will.

Dems are losing their minds over this. They had no problem with the drugs coming into America, or terrorists, for that matter. Biden said, “Come one, come all. Just remember to vote Democrat.” And they certainly have no problem with communists.

Before the dust of the Venezuelan storm settled, another storm kicked in with the killing of a protester in Minnesota by an ICE agent. I need not repeat the tragic details – you’ve all seen and heard about it. Sadly, the event was predictable. In the last several months ICE agents have been called Nazis, fascists, racists, kidnappers, thugs, and compared to Civil War era slave posse’s and Soviet KGB agents. As a result, they’ve been shot at, rammed by vehicles 100 or so times, spit on, hit with thrown objects, doxxed and threatened (along with their families) – all for carrying out America’s laws. Those who hate the agents have been emboldened by lying, unprincipled leaders, and now have no respect for these law enforcement officers. How anyone can be surprised by what occurred in Minnesota is beyond me. Believe me when I tell you the storm there will rage for a while.

Then there is the exposing of billions of dollars of fraud by Somalians in Minnesota, allowed by corrupt politicians. Before this is over, the odor from this can of worms will reach the entire nation – because Minnesota isn’t alone in these crimes. Fraud of one kind or another has been taking place throughout our country for years. And the money has bled into other nations and numerous corrupt causes. We’re about to find out the real reasons those on the left fear and hate DOGE with such passion. Many of them have been in on these schemes.

Also, election fraud is finally beginning to be exposed. It is now undeniable that our elections have been defiled for many years. This has become a cesspool of evil. Look for many in government to fight this exposure, because of: 1) their complicity, and 2) the resulting loss of power to those involved. This corruption runs very deep.

And believe me when I say the most persecuted man in America, now its President, will take great pleasure in exposing the financial fraud schemes, the election fraud, and other corruption. Not just for vengeance; he now sees it as his destiny to save America – or at least begin the process. Trump has become a Jehu, a Maccabean type warrior on a mission, opposition be damned.

And there are still other storms raging here and around the world. People are seeing the intention of Islamic leaders to take over the world, and are starting to react. This storm will be a Category 4 – get ready for a great clash. Associated with this, winds of change are blowing in Iran, which won’t stop until the nation is purged of its theocratic dictatorship. And Trump has warned the Ayatollah: continue the killing of the protesters and we’re coming after you.

And surprise, surprise, the nation of Greenland is coming up again. Trump has let it be known that – one way or the other – we will have the use of Greenland for North America’s protection. Believe him.

Political battles will also heat up. The battle over the midterm elections will be one of the greatest in history. And I believe Trump will have the opportunity to replace one or more Supreme Court justices. (He has already replaced three.) The next one or two will be a war on the scale of Robert Bork’s and Clarence Thomas’ opposition in 1987 and 1991.

And there will be even more storms…the times they are a changin’.

Just as the angel told Paul, the Lord is telling us, “Fear not!” We will pray our way through the storms and, just as Paul, come through them with victory and great fruit. God is restoring our nation. Stay focused, unafraid, and faithful in prayer. Your prayers are saving a nation and impacting the world.

Pray for Israel: This Week’s Current Events and Prayer Focus(1/4)

Israel

• Prime Minister Netanyahu visited the Negev alongside the Minister of National Security, the Minister of Defense, the Police Commissioner, the Deputy Chief of Staff, the Director of the Security Agency, and representatives from government departments. Their sole objective: We will return the Negev to the State of Israel.
• For months, IDF forces have been conducting operations along the Yellow Line in northern Gaza to destroy terrorist infrastructure above and below ground. In the Beit Lahia area, they destroyed a Hamas underground tunnel approximately two kilometers long.
• The Ministry of Defense has launched a new mobile application called Shikum.Me, designed to streamline the process for soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), mental health issues, and head injuries to access rehabilitation services. Eligible veterans receive an annual digital budget of 6,000 NIS, which can be used to directly cover approved treatment and sports activities. Developed based on feedback from wounded soldiers, the platform aims to make rehabilitation support faster, more convenient, and more accessible.
• Regarding Rehabilitation for IDF and Security Personnel: Since October 7, the high number of wounded troops has been viewed as a major national challenge requiring coordinated state response, with rehabilitation positioned as a core pillar of the Ministry of Defense’s strategy. Since the war began, the rehabilitation sector has added 130 new positions, doubled its budget, and introduced expanded services. Patient numbers are projected to reach approximately 100,000 by 2028. To address this, the Defense Minister and Finance Minister have appointed a joint public committee tasked with studying the expansion of the national rehabilitation framework, including increased staffing and resources. Recommendations are expected within three months.
• Community Defense Equipment Deployment: The Ministry of Defense has completed the nationwide distribution of thousands of advanced Arad rifles to civilian rapid response units. The procurement agreement, valued at approximately $31 million, was signed between the Ministry of Defense Procurement Authority and Israel Weapon Industries (IWI) to enhance local security capabilities.
• IDF Witnesses Largest Ultra-Orthodox Enlistment Day in History: During the December-January recruitment cycle, 537 ultra-Orthodox Jews enlisted. The IDF’s Head of Human Resources told the new recruits: “The battlefield needs you. You are the vanguard.”
• Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar announced Israel will establish an embassy in Somaliland. Somaliland President Abdirahman will visit Israel to open the Somaliland embassy there.
• Israel and Somaliland are negotiating the potential establishment of an Israeli military base. Located on the Gulf of Aden near Yemen, Somaliland’s geography is considered strategically significant, particularly for operations against Houthi militants and Iran.
• Jerusalem protests erupt in deadly clash: A bus struck and killed a demonstrator.
• Prime Minister Netanyahu met with Nikolay Mladenov, who will assume the role of Director of the Gaza Peace Committee. The Prime Minister reiterated that Hamas must disarm and Gaza must be demilitarized according to President Trump’s 20-point plan.
• Following intense combat in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, IDF paratroopers concluded approximately six months of continuous counterterrorism operations in Judea and Samaria. Tactics were adapted based on multi-front experience to suit densely populated urban areas and rural environments.

Iranians protest

• Iran’s protests have persisted for 10 days and spread nationwide. Demonstrators set fire to Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps vehicles, downtown trash bins, a government building in Tehran, and the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting building in Isfahan.
• Internet access across Iran was cut off following orders from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Cyber Command.
• Iranian security forces have used live ammunition, shotguns, and tear gas to suppress anti-government demonstrators in Kurdish regions. At least 36 people have been killed so far, as protests intensify amid economic collapse and years of oppression. The protests have evolved into a broader uprising demanding the overthrow of the current regime, with Kurdish opposition figures calling for a nationwide general strike. The unrest exposes the regime’s increasingly ruthless nature in killing its own citizens to maintain power.
• U.S. Warning to Iran: President Trump stated that if protesters are killed, the U.S. will strike Iran “hard” and make them “pay a heavy price.” When asked about the 50 protesters already killed, Trump said, “Some people die in crowd control situations. We are watching this very closely.”
  Reza Pahlavi, described as the exiled Shah of Iran, is reportedly scheduled to meet with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago next Tuesday.

Nations

• Following Britain’s recognition of the State of Palestine, the Palestinian Authority formally established an embassy in London. Senior Palestinian officials and British representatives attended the opening ceremony, marking an official elevation of Palestine’s diplomatic standing despite the absence of a negotiated agreement with Israel. Israeli officials warned that establishing an embassy without direct negotiations undermines the peace process and encourages the Palestinian side to continue refusing to renounce terrorism and incitement.
• A poll result stunned “experts,” revealing extremely high support among Latin Americans for Trump’s arrest of Maduro! Costa Rica 87%, Chile 78%, Colombia 77%, Panama 76%, Peru 74%, Argentina 61%, Ecuador 60%, Uruguay 52%!
• The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) plans to establish an office in Turkey, seeking to establish a long-term presence in the country.

Pray for Israel: Israel’s Red Sea Chessboard: The Strategic Intent Behind Recognizing Somaliland

【Background/Event: On December 26, 2025, Israel officially recognized Somaliland (full name: the Republic of Somaliland) as an independent country, becoming the first nation in the world to recognize its sovereignty. The two sides signed a declaration of mutual recognition. At the same time, Somaliland expressed its desire to join the Abraham Accords, viewing this as a step toward regional peace. However, this move immediately drew strong condemnation from Somalia (full name: the Federal Republic of Somalia) and many other countries, which accused Israel of undermining Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

A Brief Overview of Somaliland

Located at the mouth of the Gulf of Aden in the Horn of Africa, Somaliland was formerly a British colony. After a brief period of independence, it merged with Somalia. Due to civil war and governance conflicts, Somaliland declared renewed independence in 1991. Since then, it has operated autonomously and has maintained a relatively more stable situation than Somalia. However, it has never received broad international recognition. Currently, only a few countries—including the United Kingdom, Ethiopia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Denmark, Kenya, and Taiwan—maintain liaison offices there. Somaliland and Somalia have continued to engage in a prolonged tug-of-war over territory and sovereignty.

Israel’s Strategic Deployment in the Red Sea Region

Israel’s decision to become the first country in the world to formally recognize Somaliland’s sovereignty is not merely a diplomatic choice, but a geopolitical strategy. First, Israel gains the opportunity to establish a strategic outpost in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, serving as a counterbalance to the Iran-backed Houthi forces.

Moreover, Somaliland lies adjacent to Yemen and is located along the vital maritime artery connecting the Suez Canal, the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Indian Ocean—an essential route through which approximately 12% of the world’s energy trade is transported. This diplomatic move therefore brings significant benefits to Israel’s maritime trade and defense strategy.

Second, Israel’s recognition of Somaliland helps open a new circle of allies amid its international isolation. Following the Israel–Hamas war, Israel has faced widespread international criticism, but through this opportunity it has shifted its diplomatic focus toward Africa, aiming to build new alliances not dominated by the Arab world. At the same time, Somaliland—a Muslim-majority entity—has expressed willingness to join the Abraham Accords, marking a symbolic breakthrough for Israel in the Muslim world.

International Backlash

Following Israel’s recognition of Somaliland, many countries voiced strong opposition, including Somalia, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Djibouti. These countries argue that the move undermines Somalia’s territorial sovereignty and warn that Israel’s actions could threaten the regional balance of power.

In fact, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt all maintain military deployments in and around Somalia and Somaliland. Turkey sustains its influence in East Africa and the Horn of Africa through military bases and defense cooperation; Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates intervene in Yemen and the Gulf of Aden to safeguard strategic Red Sea routes; and Egypt monitors developments in the Horn of Africa, deploys rapid support forces, and closely watches Red Sea shipping security. Israel’s establishment of an alliance with Somaliland could weaken these countries’ regional control, alter the strategic landscape, and challenge their diplomatic and security dominance in the Middle East and Africa.

Praying for Israel’s Diplomatic Breakthrough

Let us continue to pray for Israel’s diplomatic breakthroughs, asking the Lord to open the hearts of more national leaders so that they may extend a hand of friendship to Israel. May the Lord also continue to strengthen the Abraham Accords and safeguard Israel’s role and security on the global stage.

Critical Event: The Middle East Enters a New Era of Revival and Last Harvest

【Current background:Prophet Cindy Jacobs invited her husband, Dr. Chuck Pierce, along with intercessors and apostles from various nations, to discuss the recent situation in the Middle East and encourage Christians to persevere in prayer. They received the message that the Middle East “Board of Peace” will bring revival and a great harvest in the end times.

Egypt is key to the revival of the Middle East

Cindy Zhai and her husband, Mike Zhai, recently attended a prophetic meeting in Cairo, Egypt. Mike Zhai received the message that Egypt is key to the revival of the Middle East, and that God has never forgotten Egypt’s kindness to Israel. First, when Egypt suffered famine, Joseph was prime minister and reunited with his family, Pharaoh gave Jacob’s family the best land—Goshen—and Jacob subsequently blessed Pharaoh. Second, when Joseph and Mary fled to Egypt with Jesus to escape King Herod, they were well cared for there until their return to Israel.

On that day there will be a great road from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will enter Egypt, and the Egyptians will enter Assyria; the Egyptians will worship the Lord together with the Assyrians. On that day Israel will be united with Egypt and Assyria, and the people of the earth will be blessed. (Isaiah 19:23-24)

While in Egypt, Zhai Xinti received God’s special anointing of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al Sisi and US President Trump, making them children of peace and enabling Israel and Hamas to quickly reach a peace agreement.

Mike Zhai recalled Jesus’ lament for Jerusalem: “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those who were sent to you! How often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing” (Matthew 23:37). He received God’s embrace of the entire Middle East and believed that peace would expand in the Middle East and more countries would join the Abrahamic Accords.

Cindy Zhai recently read about the Apostle Philip’s journey to Gaza, where he met an Ethiopian eunuch. The Holy Spirit told her , “Though it may seem unbelievable, there will be a revival in Gaza.” God will grant a great revival in the last days, an unstoppable force, and we will witness God’s supernatural workings and save Hamas and other terrorist groups.

Dr. Pierce stated that the Peace Commission has shaped a new landscape in the Middle East, with countries like Egypt and Lebanon beginning to take their places and embark on the holy path outlined in Isaiah 19. This presents a window of opportunity for the Middle East, allowing God’s Kingdom to move forward.

We pray that the Lord will deliver the people of Egypt, that they will remain steadfast in the local churches and among Christians, and that the message of peace and healing will spread throughout the Middle East.

The Middle East Peace Committee paves the way for revival and a great harvest.

Pastor Rick Ridings and his wife Patricia Ridings of the Succat Hallel have been watching over Israel since 1999. He says the ceasefire relieved the Israeli people of their burdens and grief. When the war broke out, he and his team accepted that it would continue, and prayed for the eradication of terrorism. The intercessors also prayed for Trump and the families of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and believe that God will build a prayer hall in Gaza .

Pastor Dutch Sheet encourages intercessors to continue praying and to keep watch on the “windows of kairos” in order to drive away the spirit of the Persian devil, promote the Abrahamic Agreement, and pave the way for the great harvest in the end times . God will open people’s hearts, and revival has already begun in Iran.

Mario Bramnick, president of the Latino Coalition for Israel , explained that the Abrahamic Accords opened the door to the Middle East by bringing in members of Congress with a mission. He had previously prayed with Cindy Zaitsyn, Dr. Pierce, and others for Trump’s election, the abolition of the Antichrist and anti-Semitic programs, alignment of the Sheep Nation with the United States, and the spiritual battle against the Amalekites, ultimately leading to the return of the hostages on the eve of Torah.

During Trump’s first term, he saw Trump calling upon God in prayer, signifying that the president would lead the country back to normalcy. By Trump’s second election, he saw a spiritual tsunami sweeping across the United States, and with Charlie Kirk’s testimony, he believed that American reforms would bring about global revival.

We pray that the Lord will raise up more Christians in the United States and around the world to pray for the situation in the Middle East, to seize the window of opportunity, to lead the nation into God’s will, and to pave the way for the great harvest in the end times.

In accordance with the promise in Isaiah 19, Rebecca Greenwood, co-founder of Christian Harvest International, received at the beginning of the year that leaders of nations would gather in Egypt, establish a parliament, liberate Egypt, and bring healing throughout the Middle East.

Apostle Jennifer Leclaire, who mobilized intercessors in 130 countries around the world to watch over the Middle East, encouraged the prayer warriors , saying that the current situation in the Middle East is the result of many years of intercession, which God accomplished in an instant. Therefore, we should not underestimate the power of prayer, but continue to hold fast to prayer and fight the good fight (see 1 Timothy 1:18 ) to shape the destiny of the nation until all the promises about the Middle East are fulfilled . She prayed that the Lord would bring renewal so that brothers and sisters could smoothly enter the next stage of great harvest.

Cindy Jacob concluded by saying that in the great harvest of the last days, brothers and sisters need to change their minds, learn to love their enemies, and let go of all political hatred , especially regarding the “Communion Revival.” For example, last year (2024) Yom Kippur saw 250,000 people gather in Washington, D.C. to pray. She also recently saw on social media that four Roman Catholic leaders were receiving communion together in Gaza.

Cindy Jacob prophesied: “Will I not leave a remnant in Gaza? Will they not shine in Gaza? Is there not Philip preaching the gospel in Gaza today? You will see me supernatural manifestations, and many visions and dreams will occur. Do not regard them as lost. I am the one who laid down 99 sheep to seek the one lost sheep. There will be a revival in Gaza. I will rebuild. People say it is impossible, but am I not I myself? Am I not the eternal God? Am I not greater than all established strongholds? Watch me move! I am the lion, and I will roar in the Middle East.”

We pray that the Lord will change our minds, let go of our prejudices and hatred, fight the good fight according to God’s promise, witness the revival coming to the Middle East, and welcome the great harvest of the end times.

Critical Event: Major Opening Events of 2026 – Combating the Axis of Evil

【Background/Event: As the timeline entered 2026, U.S. President Donald Trump and his administration’s special forces carried out a lightning-fast operation, arresting Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro within just 2.2 hours and bringing him to the United States to stand trial—sending shockwaves through the international community. This action posed the most direct threat yet to Iran, where large-scale protests, violent clashes, and civilian casualties were already unfolding. Strikingly, the arrest of Maduro took place precisely on the sixth anniversary of Trump’s order to assassinate Qasem Soleimani, commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force, giving the event a strong sense of warning and symbolic significance.

“Operation Absolute Resolve”

In the early hours of January 3, 2026, the United States launched military airstrikes and ground assaults under the code name Operation Absolute Resolve, targeting multiple locations including Venezuela’s capital, Caracas. The operation resulted in the arrest of President Maduro and his wife, the overthrow of his government, and the takeover of power to facilitate a transition. Trump later posted on social media that “this operation was aimed at combating drug trafficking. It represents one of the most astonishing, effective, and powerful demonstrations of U.S. military strength and operational capability in history. Looking back, there have been similarly significant operations, such as the strike against ISIS leader al-Baghdadi, and more recently the operation known as ‘Midnight Hammer,’ which completely destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities.”

According to The Jerusalem Post, Iran has long been a key ally of Venezuela, investing in military infrastructure there and using the country as a hub for illegal financial networks in South America. Reportedly, bilateral trade between Iran and Venezuela approached USD 3 billion in 2023 alone. In reality, Maduro was not governing a nation but running a criminal and drug empire, directly supported by Hezbollah and Iran.

Instability in Iran

Meanwhile, since December 28 of last year, Iran has been plunged into turmoil due to the sharp devaluation of its currency, severe water shortages, and the significant weakening of its theocratic regime following a 12-day war with the United States and Israel. Public anger surged, driving people into the streets. Iran descended into widespread disorder as protesters stormed provincial governors’ offices and shouted “Death to Khamenei.” The regime ordered a nationwide shutdown, paralyzing the country. Reports indicate that in 21 of Iran’s 31 provinces, large-scale closures affected businesses, universities, and government institutions.

Iranian security forces reportedly fired on civilians from within buildings. At least seven protesters were shot dead, more than 30 were injured, and 119 protesters were arrested. At the same time, Trump warned that if Iranian security forces killed protesters, “the United States will step in to rescue them.”

A Warning to Iran

Following his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the end of last year, Trump emphasized that “if Iran continues to develop nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs, the United States will take action to crush them completely.” The Venezuela incident was undoubtedly a warning directed at the Iranian regime—an act meant to “kill the chicken to scare the monkeys,” sending a signal to the global axis of evil.

2026: Heaven Connected to Earth, God Revealing Himself

Prophet Eric Burton recently stated on his YouTube channel Groundbreaker International, in reference to prophecies concerning 5786–2026, that 2026 would be “a year of holy, heavenly, supernatural, and divine intervention—miraculous in nature,” in which people would witness “the work of God’s right hand,” the subduing of enemies, and the fulfillment of God’s will. He further foretold that a “great victory” would be revealed in the first week of 2026. From the end of last year until now, within just a single week, major international events have indeed seemed to fulfill these prophetic words. 5786–2026 truly appears to be a year when heaven and earth are connected, a year in which God reveals Himself.

Therefore, we pray that God Himself would reveal His power, dismantle all authoritarian regimes that are not aligned with His will, and we declare that the systems of the axis of evil will collapse, releasing God’s people into freedom. May the gospel of God be proclaimed freely, and may it be declared that now is the Jubilee year of the Lord’s favor.

Pray for First Nations:  Observe Holy Communion for America – Witness the Moment of Unity between Native Americans and Nations in Washington, D.C.

【Current events/Background:   More than a decade later, I returned to Washington, D.C., to attend two gatherings, “All Tribes DC” and “Communion America.” This all began with a prayer request from a Native American leader a few weeks earlier.

I. A Call from Indigenous Peoples

At a prayer meeting with Native Americans, Brian LaBounty, a Native American leader from the East Coast of the United States, made a rare appearance. He shared that during Sukkot, he would set up a Teepee in the center of White House Plaza, joining representatives from all fifty states in their own tents to pray and worship. At that moment, I was deeply moved and immediately recalled the scripture: “On that day I will rebuild the fallen tent of David, mend its holes and restore it to its former state” (Amos 9:11).

Before my departure, the Lord miraculously provided funds, enabling me to travel without worry. What delighted me even more was hearing that an indigenous couple from Taiwan were also coming to bless the Native Americans. Unexpectedly, on my very first day, we met each other, along with Pastor Peng and his wife from the Eastern United States. Although it was our first meeting, because of the Lord’s love and our shared mission, we quickly bonded, opening our hearts and sharing our experiences.

Pastor Chiu of Taiwan has pastored the indigenous church for 25 years, weathering storms and tears, yet always shepherding his flock with the love of the Lord. His perseverance has yielded results – a group of young indigenous people have been raised up, possessing fervent hearts and clear spiritual vision, willing to come to the United States to pray with the local indigenous community. They honor their elders, walk with one another, and become a blessing to all.

The group of ten included both adults and children. Due to the high cost of airfare, their leader, Teacher Ahong, had initially not planned to bring the children. However, the children prayed earnestly, and God miraculously provided – donations poured in, ensuring that all expenses were fully covered. This vividly demonstrated that the promises of Isaiah 60:4-5 are being fulfilled step by step – God ensures that His servants, both men and women, will lack nothing in the new season.

II. The Flame of the Younger Generation

On the first night of the gathering on October 9th, the early autumn night air in Washington was crisp and cold. I was surrounded by a group of young people dancing, worshipping, and shouting with abandon. The leader invited everyone to pray for the 56 tents, and the crowd knelt on the cold stone floor in silent prayer. I knelt down as well, hearing soft sobs around me. Then, the crowd entered into prayer of repentance, and worship rose again. The night was deep, but no one left. Many prayed to one another, embraced, and wept – the presence of the Holy Spirit was incredibly strong. Afterward, prayer of repentance and new worship rose again. The gathering continued late into the night, with no one leaving. The atmosphere was filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit; people interceded for one another and supported one another. I met two young girls – no more than twenty years old, yet adorned with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. When they prayed for others, their words flowed like a torrent, precise and powerful; they not only cared for individual souls but also prayed for China and Canada. Their hearts were pure and expansive, radiating an atmosphere of revival.

After the meeting, even though the subway had stopped running, they still insisted on driving us home for forty minutes. At that moment, I witnessed an act of love – “Love is patient, love is kind…it does not seek its own advantage” (1 Corinthians 13) . “In the days of your reign your people will adorn themselves with holiness and will willingly sacrifice themselves; your people will be as abundant as the morning dew” (Psalm 110:3).

Lord, raise up young people who are pure, fervent, interceding for the nations, and willingly dedicating themselves.

III. A Family’s Testimony

On October 10th, we had a family worship gathering in the local area. When Ah-Hong led the worship in the native Taiwanese language, the entire room erupted in cheers, and the Holy Spirit was in great motion. Brothers and sisters served one another, translated for one another, and were of one mind – the indigenous people became vessels of blessing for all churches.

Ah-Hong shared that many years ago, Taiwan’s indigenous people felt inferior due to discrimination and did not identify with their own identity. Today, they are proud of their indigenous identity because they have been healed and restored in Christ. As Psalm 3:3 says, ” The Lord is my glory, that he lifts up my head.” When their identity is restored and their creativity and authority are released, they begin to lead and bless nations.

IV. Observing Holy Communion – A Symbol of Unity

On the morning of October 11, we arrived at the Indigenous tents to present gifts on behalf of Taiwan and Canada, expressing unity and support. Ah-hong declared that just as God revived the Indigenous people of Taiwan, He will also revive the Indigenous people of the United States, enabling them to stand as the “firstborn sons of the land” to bless the nation.

That afternoon, we shared the Lord’s bread and cup together at a 1.5-mile-long table—stretching from Indigenous tents to Capitol Hill. The setting sun cast golden light, and the white tablecloths and olive branches symbolized peace and glory. At that moment, I seemed to see the ” wedding of the Lamb ” described in Revelation 19 , the bride prepared and seated with the Lord.

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give glory to Him, for the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has prepared herself.” (Revelation 19:7)

V. Preparing the Bride to Welcome the King

O firstborn son of the earth, rise up and shine! May the glory of God shine upon you, and may all nations turn to the Lord through your light.

Pray for First Nations: Are Jews Indigenous to the Land of Israel?

【Current events/Background:  As an indigenous activist—I am a Métis from the Paddle Prairie Metis settlement in Alberta, Canada—there is one question I am most often asked by the public, one that can instantly divide a community due to its intense and arduous subject matter.

Yet, regardless of the scenario, each time I hear the words, “Are Jews the indigenous people of Israel?” I’m inclined to answer not only with my heart but with the brutal, honest truth, backed by indisputable, thousands-year-old historical and archaeological fact: yes.

While evidence in favor of this view is overwhelming, activists who oppose Israel’s right to exist and deny the Jewish people’s connection to the land—perhaps before learning where indigenous status stems from and what it means—still have an issue with this claim, supporting a narrative built on falsehoods that today is basically acknowledged as fact.

It is my belief that strengthening Jewish identity is the optimum way to fight against the perpetuation of false narratives and lies. This can be achieved only through an indigenous decolonization of Jewish identity, which would urge Jews to see themselves through a Jewish lens and manifest the indigenous aspects of Jewish identity in a meaningful way.

Now, to understand indigeneity, one must also understand indigenous people, how we see ourselves, and how we see the world. At its simplest, indigenous status stems from the genesis of a culture, language, and traditions in conjunction with its connections to an ancestral land, most commonly derived from ties to pre-colonial peoples. Once a people have such a cultural, linguistic, and spiritual genesis as well as a coalescence as a people, they are generally acknowledged as an indigenous people.

An anthropologist named José Martínez Cobo, who served as the UN’s special rapporteur on discrimination against indigenous populations, developed a simple checklist in order to make indigenous status easier to understand. Even though that checklist has since been adjusted—I would argue, to fit the UN’s anti-Israel agenda—it remains the standard for most anthropologists in the field today:

Indigenous communities, peoples and nations are those which, having a historical continuity with pre-invasion and pre-colonial societies that developed on their territories, consider themselves distinct from other sectors of the societies now prevailing on those territories, or parts of them. They form at present nondominant sectors of society and are determined to preserve, develop and transmit to future generations their ancestral territories, and their ethnic identity, as the basis of their continued existence as peoples, in accordance with their own cultural patterns, social institutions and legal system.

This historical continuity may consist of the continuation, for an extended period reaching into the present of one or more of the following factors:

1. Occupation of ancestral lands, or at least of part of them;
2. Common ancestry with the original occupants of these lands;
3. Culture in general, or in specific manifestations (such as religion, living under a tribal system, membership of an indigenous community, dress, means of livelihood, lifestyle, etc.);
4. Language (whether used as the only language, as mother-tongue, as the habitual means of communication at home or in the family, or as the main, preferred, habitual, general or normal language);
5. Residence on certain parts of the country, or in certain regions of the world;
6. Other relevant factors.

As a guideline, the Martínez Cobo study is fairly clear and gives us a way to avoid falling prey to false claims. However, there is one section—which, as far as I can tell, wasn’t in Cobo’s earliest definition—that has been referred to as problematic by many indigenous activists. This section refers to “nondominant sectors of society,” which is directly related to the issue of Jews as an indigenous people. It implies that by being “nondominant,” you have yet to realize self-determination. Ergo, if a group has achieved self-determination (i.e., the Jewish people or the Fijians), they will no longer meet the checklist as indigenous.

Seeing how the goal of all indigenous peoples is to achieve self-determination on their ancestral lands, it’s basically the most egregious example of a Catch-22.

You might be wondering why this seemingly throwaway line about “prevailing societies and non-dominant sectors” was included when it’s so clearly counterintuitive to our goals as indigenous peoples. It is my belief that it was inserted to deny indigenous status to one specific people, in fact, the only people who have actually achieved full self-determination on their ancestral lands: the Jewish people.

Why else would the United Nations include a caveat that basically denies indigenous peoples’ identity if we actually win in our struggle?

Archaeology, genealogy, and history all support the Jewish claim to indigeneity. A debate on this issue only even exists because we’ve been fed a false narrative that Palestinian Arabs also hold a claim to the land of Israel. Not to say that two peoples can’t be indigenous to one land. The Palestinians do indeed have the legitimate “rights of longstanding presence” in Israel, but this does not trump the indigenous status of Jewish people, 90 percent of whom can directly trace their genetics to the Levant. The cultural genesis, spirituality, language, and ancestral ties of Palestinian Arabs, however, trace back to the Hejaz (a region in present-day Saudi Arabia). In the Quran, the Hejaz is where Muhammad was born and where he established a community of followers.

To say that Palestinian Arabs were the first inhabitants of the land of Israel is problematic for actual indigenous people like the Jewish people, the Amazigh, the Copts, the Assyrians, the Samaritans, and others who were forcefully conquered, subsumed, and converted. It would literally be akin to white Europeans in North America making that same claim. Conquering peoples can still become indigenous through cultural genesis and coalescence. They cannot, however, become indigenous simply through conquering indigenous people.

Indigenous status is specific to certain areas, just as in North America, where certain tribes are indigenous to specific regions. The same rules should be applied in the Middle East. Just as the Cree would not claim Mohawk territories, Arabs should not try to claim Jewish, Amazigh, Kurdish, or Assyrian territories. Each of those peoples have clearly defined territories that date to pre-colonial times.

The primary argument promoting the false narrative that Jews are not indigenous to the land of Israel is that they are actually the descendants of European colonizers. This can be easily rebuked. Recent studies support the notion that some 80 percent of Jewish males, and 50 percent of Jewish females, can trace their ancestry to the Middle East. Early population genetics studies also confirm that “most Jewish Diaspora groups originated in the Middle East.”

Another study shows that even the first European Ashkenazi Jews were at least half Middle Eastern.

The next argument against Jews being an indigenous people derives from the fact that Abraham was from Ur. And, while he is considered the father of the Jewish people, they did not become a people in Ur but in the Levant—specifically, in modern-day Judea and Samaria.

According to Jewish tradition and spirituality, the Torah was given to the Jewish people at Mount Sinai, but they had their cultural Genesis in the land of Israel. Of the 613 mitzvot, the vast majority can only be completed in the land of Israel. The Patriarchs and Matriarchs of the Jewish people are all buried in the land of Israel. The holiest sites in Judaism are located—you guessed it—in the land of Israel. Abraham was indeed from Ur, but the people who stemmed from him are, without a doubt, from Israel.

This is closely related to the issue of Jerusalem, which both Palestinian Muslims and Israeli Jews claim as their own. One need only look to the Tanakh, where Jerusalem is mentioned an astounding 699 times, and then to the Quran, where Jerusalem is not mentioned even once, to resolve this dispute.

Then there is the Canaanite argument, a relatively newer piece of Palestinian propaganda that argues—because the Torah claims that the Canaanites were driven out by the Israelites—that Jews are therefore not indigenous to Israel. Archaeologists suggest, however, that the Canaanites were in fact not destroyed at all, but subsumed by the ascendant Hebrew people.

It appears that once Palestinian Arabs realized their claim to being descendants of the Philistines was false—as the Philistines, derived from the Hebrew word peleshet, have no connection ethnically, linguistically, or historically to the people of Arabia—they decided that they were descended from Canaanites instead.

In a 2012 speech, a spokesperson for Mahmoud Abbas said, “The nation of Palestine upon the land of Canaan had a 7,000-year history B.C.E. This is the truth, which must be understood, and we have to note it, in order to say: ‘Netanyahu, you are incidental in history. We are the people of history. We are the owners of history.’ ”

This comment from the Abbas camp is complete rubbish, just one on a laundry list of Palestinian misnomers. First, the Canaanites have been extinct for 3,000 years and little is known today about their direct descendants. Second, pre-Islamic Arabs—of whom Palestinians are direct descendants—first appeared only in the 9th century BCE, not in 7000 BCE. Third, in 1946, before the establishment of Modern Israel, Palestinian-Arab leaders themselves only claimed a connection to the land of Israel dating back no further than seventh century CE—when Muhammad’s followers conquered North Africa and the surrounding region. You may also want to ask: What spiritual, cultural, or traditional constructs of the Canaanite people have Palestinian Arabs maintained? The answer is none.

But this should not be surprising. Even the most novice researcher looking into falsehoods perpetrated by Palestinian leaders would quickly find other blatant lies aimed at delegitimizing the history of the Jewish people, like the time Yasser Arafat told Bill Clinton there was never a Jewish temple in Jerusalem, or the time Ekrima Sabri, former Jerusalem mufti and chairman of the Supreme Islamic Council in Jerusalem, said, “After 25 years of digging, archaeologists are unanimous that not a single stone has been found related to Jerusalem’s alleged Jewish history.”

These are the proponents of the false narrative attempting to rebuke the indigenous status of the Jewish people in the land of Israel.

I got involved in this struggle because I was seeing nonindigenous people make arguments that are detrimental to actual indigenous people, arguments that attempt to rewrite our history. The idea that “Palestinian Arab” conquerors could become indigenous through conquering the Jewish people, even though the term “Palestinian” was only used in reference to Jews before 1948, is anathema. While Arabs claim to be related to the descendants of Israel through blood, it’s just another way to say that they acted like all conquerors, raping and pillaging and then settling and subsuming the locals. Native North Americans especially understand that simply conquering indigenous people does not grant one indigenous status.

Building a monument over our sacred places does not make them yours (Mount Rushmore, anyone?) Not any more than UNESCO declaring the Temple Mount to be a Muslim sacred site because they built a mosque over the church that was built over the ruins of the Jewish Temple. It’s a basic tradition in the Western ethos to respect those who came before you; it’s even built into most of our laws to respect prior claim, and that’s what indigenous rights are really all about. Respecting the rights of those who came before you.

9. Pray for this generation (give special attention to youth) to rise up in the fire of God. Pray for pure streams of revival to prepare and equip this generation for their destiny in God.

11. Political realignment. Pray for exposure of the rainbow coalition. Minorities who Chinese/Marxist rally to get out the vote. They will use them to try to flip seats in 2026 and 2028. We need to thwart their plans.

3. The Decade of the Mouth (Pe): We are currently in the decade of the letter Pe (numerical value 80), which symbolizes the “mouth”.
   • Prophetic Declaration: When the “mouth” (80) is combined with the “connection” (6) of this year, it means that what we speak must align with God.

Starting this January 1st, we are launching The Global Esther Fast, calling our global community of Esthers and Mordecais to a year of collective prayer and fasting for revival and reformation to come to the nations and our families, for “For such a time as this.” (Esther 4:14)

We are inviting you to fast and pray the first three days of every month throughout 2026, aligning our hearts with Heaven and contending together for nations, truth, and transformation. This is more than a rhythm—it is a holy summons to stand in the gap.

Day One – The Rising of an Army of Esthers

We pray for the global prayer movement of Esthers to arise in force—men and women grounded in truth, humility, and holy courage—standing against deceptive ideologies, and counterfeit movements spreading across the globe, and for our personal calling as modern-day Esthers and Mordecai’s

We turn our focus to our home nation. While each nation’s need looks different, every nation has promises and prophetic assignments to be fulfilled. We contend for repentance, reformation, righteous leadership, and awakening.

Day Three – Israel & Standing Against Antisemitism 
We pray for Israel —its peace, protection, and salvation—and boldly come against the Hamanic spirit that is behind the rising demonic tide of antisemitism worldwide.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you’” (Psalm 122:6)

Scripture reminds us, “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray… then I will hear from heaven” (2 Chronicles 7:14). We believe Heaven responds when God’s people align—and that history is shaped by those willing to say yes.

As you read this, our prayer is that you would feel a holy stirring—the burden and the burn—to join us. As we fast and pray together, we are confident of this truth: radical global transformation will take place.

He reminded me that the coming Chinese New Year marks the *Year of the Fire Horse*. The Lord said, “Don’t be discouraged by what happened in 2025, the Year of the Snake. No wonder! There were so many disappointments and trials! Cheer yourself up—you are still here! That means you have trampled over the snake and overcome the enemy!” So be encouraged!

The Lord told me there will be great shaking in every area of our lives in 2026. For “the horse is prepared for the day of battle” (Proverbs 21:31a), and we must prepare ourselves to be war horses—whether we feel willing or ready or not.

We will LEAP over all the obstacles in the past! May the Lord open our eyes to see the heavenly realm, like He did for John the beloved, to see our King on the white horse is a victorious King above all!! Happy New Year! It has been an amazing year. We are standing at a very important moment – ​​2025. That is to say, 25 years have passed, and another 25 years are about to begin.

We stand at this crucial juncture, but today, God speaks to you and me through Jeremiah 24:6 : “I will visit them and make them good; I will bring them back to the land; I will build them up and will not tear them down; I will plant them and will not uproot them. I will give them knowledge of me, that they may know that I am the Lord; they will be my people and I will be their God, for their hearts will be with me.”

This is the message God has placed in my heart to share with you today. You know, many things have happened in these 25 years: tremors, shocks, and even now, people are still in transition. So what will happen in this season, in the next 15 years, that is, in 2040 ? I want to tell you that God’s word is: “Build.” He says, “I will establish.”

This is a time to build relationships . I know many people are searching for something deep inside – relationships. But God says the first thing is to build a relationship with Him. This is what I wanted to share with you from the beginning: build a relationship with God from the start. But I want to tell you that even if you’re not ready to build a relationship with Him, He is already ready to build a relationship with you. Even though you have so many things to do, God has no other job but one thing – to love you and build a relationship with you.

So this year will be a wonderful year for you. You will see the love of the Father, the love of God. He is your Father. You will experience a very strong and powerful relationship. This is exactly what you and I have been lacking these days. But God says, “I will be your God, and you will be my children; I will be your Father, and you will be my children.” So this is a time for building relationships.

What I see in the next 15 years – especially the next 10 – is a revival of prayer. I don’t know how many of you believe it, but I do. There will be a great revival, and it will happen very soon, starting now.

But first and foremost, if you want to see a global revival, the first thing is your relationship with God – our relationship with God, our encounter with God, our intimacy with God. This is the first thing, and this is what revival is.

God said, “I want to build a relationship with you.” This is a time to build a relationship, a time to build a relationship with God, a time to encounter God. So I encourage each of you to spend more time alone with God this year.

Wash away all the seeds. God says, now is the time when you don’t need to expend so much effort to weed. “I will plant myself.” This means that everything you’ve done in the past has not been in vain. He says, “I will lead you to the next level.” This is a season of planting —including expanding the church, expanding many ministries, and new ministries will arise.

I truly thank God. I actually have a lot more to share with you, and perhaps I will continue to share in the days to come. But I want to tell you that this is a time for prayer, a time for personal encounter with God, a time for walking with God.

This is what I want to share with you this year, 2026. But a lot will happen in the coming years. It’s a pivotal moment, I tell you, a major one.

Are you ready? Many changes are about to happen. Are you ready to face these changes? Today, let’s begin praying for the next 10 years, starting in 2026.

Father, today I offer thanks to You for all who are watching and listening. This year, Father, is a year in which we walk with You. We thank You, Father, for walking with us. This is a time for walking together.

I saw many people shaken; they lost their identities, even their life’s journey. Let me see, Father, they will return, for You have waited so long. Thank You, Father. 【 Current Events/Background:  The 2026 midterm elections are crucial for President Trump’s ability to maintain Republican control of Washington. Here are details for five key districts:

• Georgia : Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff　 will seek re-election. Although he won the runoff in 2021, his lead was only 1.2%. His seat is challenged as Trump won the state in 2024 with a 2.2% margin, and Ossoff is held accountable for last year’s government shutdown. The state primary will be held on May 19.
• Michigan : The impending retirement of Democratic Senator Gary Peters has sparked a three-way race within the state. Contestants include the progressive Abdul El-Sayed, and two moderates, Haley Stevens and Mallory McMorrow. Republicans have criticized El-Sayed’s proposals, such as those for universal healthcare, as “radical socialism.” The primary election is scheduled for August 4th.
• Minnesota : A seat is vacant in the state following Senator Tina Smith’s retirement. While Minnesota is traditionally a deep blue state (supporting Democrats), recent fraud scandals have provided a campaign opportunity for conservatives. The primary will be held on August 10.

• In his remarks following his visit to the United States, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated: President Trump made it clear that Hamas disarmament is a necessary and fundamental prerequisite for his 20-point plan. We fully support the United States’ actions in Venezuela. Latin America is undergoing transformation, with countries returning to the US camp and rebuilding ties with the State of Israel.
• Netanyahu on Somaliland, Judaism and Samaria, Syria, and Christians:
  • Somaliland hopes to join the Abraham Accords, as its democratic system differs from that of other parts of Somalia.
  • We hope to see a future where Judaism and Samaria are no longer used to carry out terrorist attacks. Israel must ultimately exercise military control over Judaism and Samaria.
  • Regarding Syria: Half of their army consists of jihadists.
  • Christians are persecuted throughout the Middle East, with one exception: Israel.

Israel

• By 2025, approximately 70,000 Israelis will have left Israel, while about 24,600 new immigrants will have arrived. Israel’s population will reach approximately 10.178 million, thanks to a persistently high birth rate. This sharp increase in immigration is linked to security concerns, political uncertainty, and cost-of-living pressures. Analysts point out that a large number of immigrants are working-age professionals, which could have long-term economic and labor market impacts.
• New developments in Israel indicate a domino effect is emerging, potentially creating geopolitical upheavals that could reshape the Middle East and the global landscape. Israel is at the center of this. Meanwhile, Iran is experiencing its first large-scale challenge to its regime, which has not resorted to its usual extreme repression, as Trump’s warnings have caused it to lose control over public fear. This could provide an opportunity for Iran’s collapse and transformation, thereby impacting the roots of global terrorism.
• Meanwhile, Trump’s arrest of the Venezuelan prime minister sparked widespread reactions. This not only impacted alliances with countries like Iran but also revealed the moral stance of Western nations.
• Israel continues its fight against Hezbollah, and with Iran’s power waning, the time is ripe to complete this “mission.” 2026 could be the year of freedom’s expansion, with strong leadership confronting evil forces. History will turn arrogance into defeat, and the responsibility returns to us. Israel lives on!

Venezuela

• Trump announced a large-scale U.S. military operation in Venezuela, capturing President Maduro and his wife.
• U.S. Attorney General Bondi stated that Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro and his wife have been indicted on charges including drug terrorism and cocaine trafficking. Maduro is not only a tyrant and drug kingpin, but also a financier of Palestinian terrorism and provides funding to Islamist terrorists operating in northern Yemen, who are linked to the Iranian regime and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
• Opposition leader Machado issued a statement announcing the official start of Venezuela’s democratic transition, stating that Maduro will face an international trial and that the era of fear is coming to an end. Venezuela will finally gain freedom, which he sees as the culmination of years of sacrifice and resistance, marking the beginning of a new chapter.
•  Following Maduro’s arrest, large-scale public celebrations erupted across Venezuela.
•  President Trump stated that the United States will temporarily oversee Venezuela to ensure a “safe, proper, and just transition,” and that the United States hopes the Venezuelan people will enjoy “peace, freedom, and justice” as they move toward a new leadership.

Pray for Israel: Israel’s Red Sea Chessboard: The Strategic Intent Behind Recognizing Somaliland

【Background/Event: On December 26, 2025, Israel officially recognized Somaliland (full name: the Republic of Somaliland) as an independent country, becoming the first nation in the world to recognize its sovereignty. The two sides signed a declaration of mutual recognition. At the same time, Somaliland expressed its desire to join the Abraham Accords, viewing this as a step toward regional peace. However, this move immediately drew strong condemnation from Somalia (full name: the Federal Republic of Somalia) and many other countries, which accused Israel of undermining Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Located at the mouth of the Gulf of Aden in the Horn of Africa, Somaliland was formerly a British colony. After a brief period of independence, it merged with Somalia. Due to civil war and governance conflicts, Somaliland declared renewed independence in 1991. Since then, it has operated autonomously and has maintained a relatively more stable situation than Somalia. However, it has never received broad international recognition. Currently, only a few countries—including the United Kingdom, Ethiopia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Denmark, Kenya, and Taiwan—maintain liaison offices there. Somaliland and Somalia have continued to engage in a prolonged tug-of-war over territory and sovereignty.

Israel’s Strategic Deployment in the Red Sea Region

Israel’s decision to become the first country in the world to formally recognize Somaliland’s sovereignty is not merely a diplomatic choice, but a geopolitical strategy. First, Israel gains the opportunity to establish a strategic outpost in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, serving as a counterbalance to the Iran-backed Houthi forces.

Moreover, Somaliland lies adjacent to Yemen and is located along the vital maritime artery connecting the Suez Canal, the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Indian Ocean—an essential route through which approximately 12% of the world’s energy trade is transported. This diplomatic move therefore brings significant benefits to Israel’s maritime trade and defense strategy.

Second, Israel’s recognition of Somaliland helps open a new circle of allies amid its international isolation. Following the Israel–Hamas war, Israel has faced widespread international criticism, but through this opportunity it has shifted its diplomatic focus toward Africa, aiming to build new alliances not dominated by the Arab world. At the same time, Somaliland—a Muslim-majority entity—has expressed willingness to join the Abraham Accords, marking a symbolic breakthrough for Israel in the Muslim world.

International Backlash

Following Israel’s recognition of Somaliland, many countries voiced strong opposition, including Somalia, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Djibouti. These countries argue that the move undermines Somalia’s territorial sovereignty and warn that Israel’s actions could threaten the regional balance of power.

In fact, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt all maintain military deployments in and around Somalia and Somaliland. Turkey sustains its influence in East Africa and the Horn of Africa through military bases and defense cooperation; Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates intervene in Yemen and the Gulf of Aden to safeguard strategic Red Sea routes; and Egypt monitors developments in the Horn of Africa, deploys rapid support forces, and closely watches Red Sea shipping security. Israel’s establishment of an alliance with Somaliland could weaken these countries’ regional control, alter the strategic landscape, and challenge their diplomatic and security dominance in the Middle East and Africa.

Praying for Israel’s Diplomatic Breakthrough

Let us continue to pray for Israel’s diplomatic breakthroughs, asking the Lord to open the hearts of more national leaders so that they may extend a hand of friendship to Israel. May the Lord also continue to strengthen the Abraham Accords and safeguard Israel’s role and security on the global stage.

Critical Event: The Middle East Enters a New Era of Revival and Last Harvest

【Current background:Prophet Cindy Jacobs invited her husband, Dr. Chuck Pierce, along with intercessors and apostles from various nations, to discuss the recent situation in the Middle East and encourage Christians to persevere in prayer. They received the message that the Middle East “Board of Peace” will bring revival and a great harvest in the end times.

Egypt is key to the revival of the Middle East

Cindy Zhai and her husband, Mike Zhai, recently attended a prophetic meeting in Cairo, Egypt. Mike Zhai received the message that Egypt is key to the revival of the Middle East, and that God has never forgotten Egypt’s kindness to Israel. First, when Egypt suffered famine, Joseph was prime minister and reunited with his family, Pharaoh gave Jacob’s family the best land—Goshen—and Jacob subsequently blessed Pharaoh. Second, when Joseph and Mary fled to Egypt with Jesus to escape King Herod, they were well cared for there until their return to Israel.

On that day there will be a great road from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will enter Egypt, and the Egyptians will enter Assyria; the Egyptians will worship the Lord together with the Assyrians. On that day Israel will be united with Egypt and Assyria, and the people of the earth will be blessed. (Isaiah 19:23-24)

While in Egypt, Zhai Xinti received God’s special anointing of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al Sisi and US President Trump, making them children of peace and enabling Israel and Hamas to quickly reach a peace agreement.

Mike Zhai recalled Jesus’ lament for Jerusalem: “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those who were sent to you! How often I have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing” (Matthew 23:37). He received God’s embrace of the entire Middle East and believed that peace would expand in the Middle East and more countries would join the Abrahamic Accords.

Cindy Zhai recently read about the Apostle Philip’s journey to Gaza, where he met an Ethiopian eunuch. The Holy Spirit told her , “Though it may seem unbelievable, there will be a revival in Gaza.” God will grant a great revival in the last days, an unstoppable force, and we will witness God’s supernatural workings and save Hamas and other terrorist groups.

Dr. Pierce stated that the Peace Commission has shaped a new landscape in the Middle East, with countries like Egypt and Lebanon beginning to take their places and embark on the holy path outlined in Isaiah 19. This presents a window of opportunity for the Middle East, allowing God’s Kingdom to move forward.

We pray that the Lord will deliver the people of Egypt, that they will remain steadfast in the local churches and among Christians, and that the message of peace and healing will spread throughout the Middle East.

The Middle East Peace Committee paves the way for revival and a great harvest.

Pastor Rick Ridings and his wife Patricia Ridings of the Succat Hallel have been watching over Israel since 1999. He says the ceasefire relieved the Israeli people of their burdens and grief. When the war broke out, he and his team accepted that it would continue, and prayed for the eradication of terrorism. The intercessors also prayed for Trump and the families of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and believe that God will build a prayer hall in Gaza .

Pastor Dutch Sheet encourages intercessors to continue praying and to keep watch on the “windows of kairos” in order to drive away the spirit of the Persian devil, promote the Abrahamic Agreement, and pave the way for the great harvest in the end times . God will open people’s hearts, and revival has already begun in Iran.

Mario Bramnick, president of the Latino Coalition for Israel , explained that the Abrahamic Accords opened the door to the Middle East by bringing in members of Congress with a mission. He had previously prayed with Cindy Zaitsyn, Dr. Pierce, and others for Trump’s election, the abolition of the Antichrist and anti-Semitic programs, alignment of the Sheep Nation with the United States, and the spiritual battle against the Amalekites, ultimately leading to the return of the hostages on the eve of Torah.

During Trump’s first term, he saw Trump calling upon God in prayer, signifying that the president would lead the country back to normalcy. By Trump’s second election, he saw a spiritual tsunami sweeping across the United States, and with Charlie Kirk’s testimony, he believed that American reforms would bring about global revival.

We pray that the Lord will raise up more Christians in the United States and around the world to pray for the situation in the Middle East, to seize the window of opportunity, to lead the nation into God’s will, and to pave the way for the great harvest in the end times.

In accordance with the promise in Isaiah 19, Rebecca Greenwood, co-founder of Christian Harvest International, received at the beginning of the year that leaders of nations would gather in Egypt, establish a parliament, liberate Egypt, and bring healing throughout the Middle East.

Apostle Jennifer Leclaire, who mobilized intercessors in 130 countries around the world to watch over the Middle East, encouraged the prayer warriors , saying that the current situation in the Middle East is the result of many years of intercession, which God accomplished in an instant. Therefore, we should not underestimate the power of prayer, but continue to hold fast to prayer and fight the good fight (see 1 Timothy 1:18 ) to shape the destiny of the nation until all the promises about the Middle East are fulfilled . She prayed that the Lord would bring renewal so that brothers and sisters could smoothly enter the next stage of great harvest.

Cindy Jacob concluded by saying that in the great harvest of the last days, brothers and sisters need to change their minds, learn to love their enemies, and let go of all political hatred , especially regarding the “Communion Revival.” For example, last year (2024) Yom Kippur saw 250,000 people gather in Washington, D.C. to pray. She also recently saw on social media that four Roman Catholic leaders were receiving communion together in Gaza.

Cindy Jacob prophesied: “Will I not leave a remnant in Gaza? Will they not shine in Gaza? Is there not Philip preaching the gospel in Gaza today? You will see me supernatural manifestations, and many visions and dreams will occur. Do not regard them as lost. I am the one who laid down 99 sheep to seek the one lost sheep. There will be a revival in Gaza. I will rebuild. People say it is impossible, but am I not I myself? Am I not the eternal God? Am I not greater than all established strongholds? Watch me move! I am the lion, and I will roar in the Middle East.”

We pray that the Lord will change our minds, let go of our prejudices and hatred, fight the good fight according to God’s promise, witness the revival coming to the Middle East, and welcome the great harvest of the end times.

Critical Event: Major Opening Events of 2026 – Combating the Axis of Evil

【Background/Event: As the timeline entered 2026, U.S. President Donald Trump and his administration’s special forces carried out a lightning-fast operation, arresting Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro within just 2.2 hours and bringing him to the United States to stand trial—sending shockwaves through the international community. This action posed the most direct threat yet to Iran, where large-scale protests, violent clashes, and civilian casualties were already unfolding. Strikingly, the arrest of Maduro took place precisely on the sixth anniversary of Trump’s order to assassinate Qasem Soleimani, commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force, giving the event a strong sense of warning and symbolic significance.

“Operation Absolute Resolve”

In the early hours of January 3, 2026, the United States launched military airstrikes and ground assaults under the code name Operation Absolute Resolve, targeting multiple locations including Venezuela’s capital, Caracas. The operation resulted in the arrest of President Maduro and his wife, the overthrow of his government, and the takeover of power to facilitate a transition. Trump later posted on social media that “this operation was aimed at combating drug trafficking. It represents one of the most astonishing, effective, and powerful demonstrations of U.S. military strength and operational capability in history. Looking back, there have been similarly significant operations, such as the strike against ISIS leader al-Baghdadi, and more recently the operation known as ‘Midnight Hammer,’ which completely destroyed Iran’s nuclear facilities.”

According to The Jerusalem Post, Iran has long been a key ally of Venezuela, investing in military infrastructure there and using the country as a hub for illegal financial networks in South America. Reportedly, bilateral trade between Iran and Venezuela approached USD 3 billion in 2023 alone. In reality, Maduro was not governing a nation but running a criminal and drug empire, directly supported by Hezbollah and Iran.

Instability in Iran

Meanwhile, since December 28 of last year, Iran has been plunged into turmoil due to the sharp devaluation of its currency, severe water shortages, and the significant weakening of its theocratic regime following a 12-day war with the United States and Israel. Public anger surged, driving people into the streets. Iran descended into widespread disorder as protesters stormed provincial governors’ offices and shouted “Death to Khamenei.” The regime ordered a nationwide shutdown, paralyzing the country. Reports indicate that in 21 of Iran’s 31 provinces, large-scale closures affected businesses, universities, and government institutions.

Iranian security forces reportedly fired on civilians from within buildings. At least seven protesters were shot dead, more than 30 were injured, and 119 protesters were arrested. At the same time, Trump warned that if Iranian security forces killed protesters, “the United States will step in to rescue them.”

A Warning to Iran

Following his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the end of last year, Trump emphasized that “if Iran continues to develop nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs, the United States will take action to crush them completely.” The Venezuela incident was undoubtedly a warning directed at the Iranian regime—an act meant to “kill the chicken to scare the monkeys,” sending a signal to the global axis of evil.

2026: Heaven Connected to Earth, God Revealing Himself

Prophet Eric Burton recently stated on his YouTube channel Groundbreaker International, in reference to prophecies concerning 5786–2026, that 2026 would be “a year of holy, heavenly, supernatural, and divine intervention—miraculous in nature,” in which people would witness “the work of God’s right hand,” the subduing of enemies, and the fulfillment of God’s will. He further foretold that a “great victory” would be revealed in the first week of 2026. From the end of last year until now, within just a single week, major international events have indeed seemed to fulfill these prophetic words. 5786–2026 truly appears to be a year when heaven and earth are connected, a year in which God reveals Himself.

Therefore, we pray that God Himself would reveal His power, dismantle all authoritarian regimes that are not aligned with His will, and we declare that the systems of the axis of evil will collapse, releasing God’s people into freedom. May the gospel of God be proclaimed freely, and may it be declared that now is the Jubilee year of the Lord’s favor.

Pray for First Nations:  Observe Holy Communion for America – Witness the Moment of Unity between Native Americans and Nations in Washington, D.C.

【Current events/Background:   More than a decade later, I returned to Washington, D.C., to attend two gatherings, “All Tribes DC” and “Communion America.” This all began with a prayer request from a Native American leader a few weeks earlier.

I. A Call from Indigenous Peoples

At a prayer meeting with Native Americans, Brian LaBounty, a Native American leader from the East Coast of the United States, made a rare appearance. He shared that during Sukkot, he would set up a Teepee in the center of White House Plaza, joining representatives from all fifty states in their own tents to pray and worship. At that moment, I was deeply moved and immediately recalled the scripture: “On that day I will rebuild the fallen tent of David, mend its holes and restore it to its former state” (Amos 9:11).

Before my departure, the Lord miraculously provided funds, enabling me to travel without worry. What delighted me even more was hearing that an indigenous couple from Taiwan were also coming to bless the Native Americans. Unexpectedly, on my very first day, we met each other, along with Pastor Peng and his wife from the Eastern United States. Although it was our first meeting, because of the Lord’s love and our shared mission, we quickly bonded, opening our hearts and sharing our experiences.

Pastor Chiu of Taiwan has pastored the indigenous church for 25 years, weathering storms and tears, yet always shepherding his flock with the love of the Lord. His perseverance has yielded results – a group of young indigenous people have been raised up, possessing fervent hearts and clear spiritual vision, willing to come to the United States to pray with the local indigenous community. They honor their elders, walk with one another, and become a blessing to all.

The group of ten included both adults and children. Due to the high cost of airfare, their leader, Teacher Ahong, had initially not planned to bring the children. However, the children prayed earnestly, and God miraculously provided – donations poured in, ensuring that all expenses were fully covered. This vividly demonstrated that the promises of Isaiah 60:4-5 are being fulfilled step by step – God ensures that His servants, both men and women, will lack nothing in the new season.

II. The Flame of the Younger Generation

On the first night of the gathering on October 9th, the early autumn night air in Washington was crisp and cold. I was surrounded by a group of young people dancing, worshipping, and shouting with abandon. The leader invited everyone to pray for the 56 tents, and the crowd knelt on the cold stone floor in silent prayer. I knelt down as well, hearing soft sobs around me. Then, the crowd entered into prayer of repentance, and worship rose again. The night was deep, but no one left. Many prayed to one another, embraced, and wept – the presence of the Holy Spirit was incredibly strong. Afterward, prayer of repentance and new worship rose again. The gathering continued late into the night, with no one leaving. The atmosphere was filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit; people interceded for one another and supported one another. I met two young girls – no more than twenty years old, yet adorned with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. When they prayed for others, their words flowed like a torrent, precise and powerful; they not only cared for individual souls but also prayed for China and Canada. Their hearts were pure and expansive, radiating an atmosphere of revival.

After the meeting, even though the subway had stopped running, they still insisted on driving us home for forty minutes. At that moment, I witnessed an act of love – “Love is patient, love is kind…it does not seek its own advantage” (1 Corinthians 13) . “In the days of your reign your people will adorn themselves with holiness and will willingly sacrifice themselves; your people will be as abundant as the morning dew” (Psalm 110:3).

Lord, raise up young people who are pure, fervent, interceding for the nations, and willingly dedicating themselves.

III. A Family’s Testimony

On October 10th, we had a family worship gathering in the local area. When Ah-Hong led the worship in the native Taiwanese language, the entire room erupted in cheers, and the Holy Spirit was in great motion. Brothers and sisters served one another, translated for one another, and were of one mind – the indigenous people became vessels of blessing for all churches.

Ah-Hong shared that many years ago, Taiwan’s indigenous people felt inferior due to discrimination and did not identify with their own identity. Today, they are proud of their indigenous identity because they have been healed and restored in Christ. As Psalm 3:3 says, ” The Lord is my glory, that he lifts up my head.” When their identity is restored and their creativity and authority are released, they begin to lead and bless nations.

IV. Observing Holy Communion – A Symbol of Unity

On the morning of October 11, we arrived at the Indigenous tents to present gifts on behalf of Taiwan and Canada, expressing unity and support. Ah-hong declared that just as God revived the Indigenous people of Taiwan, He will also revive the Indigenous people of the United States, enabling them to stand as the “firstborn sons of the land” to bless the nation.

That afternoon, we shared the Lord’s bread and cup together at a 1.5-mile-long table—stretching from Indigenous tents to Capitol Hill. The setting sun cast golden light, and the white tablecloths and olive branches symbolized peace and glory. At that moment, I seemed to see the ” wedding of the Lamb ” described in Revelation 19 , the bride prepared and seated with the Lord.

“Let us rejoice and be glad and give glory to Him, for the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has prepared herself.” (Revelation 19:7)

V. Preparing the Bride to Welcome the King

O firstborn son of the earth, rise up and shine! May the glory of God shine upon you, and may all nations turn to the Lord through your light.

Pray for First Nations: Are Jews Indigenous to the Land of Israel?

【Current events/Background:  As an indigenous activist—I am a Métis from the Paddle Prairie Metis settlement in Alberta, Canada—there is one question I am most often asked by the public, one that can instantly divide a community due to its intense and arduous subject matter.

Yet, regardless of the scenario, each time I hear the words, “Are Jews the indigenous people of Israel?” I’m inclined to answer not only with my heart but with the brutal, honest truth, backed by indisputable, thousands-year-old historical and archaeological fact: yes.

While evidence in favor of this view is overwhelming, activists who oppose Israel’s right to exist and deny the Jewish people’s connection to the land—perhaps before learning where indigenous status stems from and what it means—still have an issue with this claim, supporting a narrative built on falsehoods that today is basically acknowledged as fact.

It is my belief that strengthening Jewish identity is the optimum way to fight against the perpetuation of false narratives and lies. This can be achieved only through an indigenous decolonization of Jewish identity, which would urge Jews to see themselves through a Jewish lens and manifest the indigenous aspects of Jewish identity in a meaningful way.

Now, to understand indigeneity, one must also understand indigenous people, how we see ourselves, and how we see the world. At its simplest, indigenous status stems from the genesis of a culture, language, and traditions in conjunction with its connections to an ancestral land, most commonly derived from ties to pre-colonial peoples. Once a people have such a cultural, linguistic, and spiritual genesis as well as a coalescence as a people, they are generally acknowledged as an indigenous people.

An anthropologist named José Martínez Cobo, who served as the UN’s special rapporteur on discrimination against indigenous populations, developed a simple checklist in order to make indigenous status easier to understand. Even though that checklist has since been adjusted—I would argue, to fit the UN’s anti-Israel agenda—it remains the standard for most anthropologists in the field today:

Indigenous communities, peoples and nations are those which, having a historical continuity with pre-invasion and pre-colonial societies that developed on their territories, consider themselves distinct from other sectors of the societies now prevailing on those territories, or parts of them. They form at present nondominant sectors of society and are determined to preserve, develop and transmit to future generations their ancestral territories, and their ethnic identity, as the basis of their continued existence as peoples, in accordance with their own cultural patterns, social institutions and legal system.

This historical continuity may consist of the continuation, for an extended period reaching into the present of one or more of the following factors:

1. Occupation of ancestral lands, or at least of part of them;
2. Common ancestry with the original occupants of these lands;
3. Culture in general, or in specific manifestations (such as religion, living under a tribal system, membership of an indigenous community, dress, means of livelihood, lifestyle, etc.);
4. Language (whether used as the only language, as mother-tongue, as the habitual means of communication at home or in the family, or as the main, preferred, habitual, general or normal language);
5. Residence on certain parts of the country, or in certain regions of the world;
6. Other relevant factors.

As a guideline, the Martínez Cobo study is fairly clear and gives us a way to avoid falling prey to false claims. However, there is one section—which, as far as I can tell, wasn’t in Cobo’s earliest definition—that has been referred to as problematic by many indigenous activists. This section refers to “nondominant sectors of society,” which is directly related to the issue of Jews as an indigenous people. It implies that by being “nondominant,” you have yet to realize self-determination. Ergo, if a group has achieved self-determination (i.e., the Jewish people or the Fijians), they will no longer meet the checklist as indigenous.

Seeing how the goal of all indigenous peoples is to achieve self-determination on their ancestral lands, it’s basically the most egregious example of a Catch-22.

You might be wondering why this seemingly throwaway line about “prevailing societies and non-dominant sectors” was included when it’s so clearly counterintuitive to our goals as indigenous peoples. It is my belief that it was inserted to deny indigenous status to one specific people, in fact, the only people who have actually achieved full self-determination on their ancestral lands: the Jewish people.

Why else would the United Nations include a caveat that basically denies indigenous peoples’ identity if we actually win in our struggle?

Archaeology, genealogy, and history all support the Jewish claim to indigeneity. A debate on this issue only even exists because we’ve been fed a false narrative that Palestinian Arabs also hold a claim to the land of Israel. Not to say that two peoples can’t be indigenous to one land. The Palestinians do indeed have the legitimate “rights of longstanding presence” in Israel, but this does not trump the indigenous status of Jewish people, 90 percent of whom can directly trace their genetics to the Levant. The cultural genesis, spirituality, language, and ancestral ties of Palestinian Arabs, however, trace back to the Hejaz (a region in present-day Saudi Arabia). In the Quran, the Hejaz is where Muhammad was born and where he established a community of followers.

To say that Palestinian Arabs were the first inhabitants of the land of Israel is problematic for actual indigenous people like the Jewish people, the Amazigh, the Copts, the Assyrians, the Samaritans, and others who were forcefully conquered, subsumed, and converted. It would literally be akin to white Europeans in North America making that same claim. Conquering peoples can still become indigenous through cultural genesis and coalescence. They cannot, however, become indigenous simply through conquering indigenous people.

Indigenous status is specific to certain areas, just as in North America, where certain tribes are indigenous to specific regions. The same rules should be applied in the Middle East. Just as the Cree would not claim Mohawk territories, Arabs should not try to claim Jewish, Amazigh, Kurdish, or Assyrian territories. Each of those peoples have clearly defined territories that date to pre-colonial times.

The primary argument promoting the false narrative that Jews are not indigenous to the land of Israel is that they are actually the descendants of European colonizers. This can be easily rebuked. Recent studies support the notion that some 80 percent of Jewish males, and 50 percent of Jewish females, can trace their ancestry to the Middle East. Early population genetics studies also confirm that “most Jewish Diaspora groups originated in the Middle East.”

Another study shows that even the first European Ashkenazi Jews were at least half Middle Eastern.

The next argument against Jews being an indigenous people derives from the fact that Abraham was from Ur. And, while he is considered the father of the Jewish people, they did not become a people in Ur but in the Levant—specifically, in modern-day Judea and Samaria.

According to Jewish tradition and spirituality, the Torah was given to the Jewish people at Mount Sinai, but they had their cultural Genesis in the land of Israel. Of the 613 mitzvot, the vast majority can only be completed in the land of Israel. The Patriarchs and Matriarchs of the Jewish people are all buried in the land of Israel. The holiest sites in Judaism are located—you guessed it—in the land of Israel. Abraham was indeed from Ur, but the people who stemmed from him are, without a doubt, from Israel.

This is closely related to the issue of Jerusalem, which both Palestinian Muslims and Israeli Jews claim as their own. One need only look to the Tanakh, where Jerusalem is mentioned an astounding 699 times, and then to the Quran, where Jerusalem is not mentioned even once, to resolve this dispute.

Then there is the Canaanite argument, a relatively newer piece of Palestinian propaganda that argues—because the Torah claims that the Canaanites were driven out by the Israelites—that Jews are therefore not indigenous to Israel. Archaeologists suggest, however, that the Canaanites were in fact not destroyed at all, but subsumed by the ascendant Hebrew people.

It appears that once Palestinian Arabs realized their claim to being descendants of the Philistines was false—as the Philistines, derived from the Hebrew word peleshet, have no connection ethnically, linguistically, or historically to the people of Arabia—they decided that they were descended from Canaanites instead.

In a 2012 speech, a spokesperson for Mahmoud Abbas said, “The nation of Palestine upon the land of Canaan had a 7,000-year history B.C.E. This is the truth, which must be understood, and we have to note it, in order to say: ‘Netanyahu, you are incidental in history. We are the people of history. We are the owners of history.’ ”

This comment from the Abbas camp is complete rubbish, just one on a laundry list of Palestinian misnomers. First, the Canaanites have been extinct for 3,000 years and little is known today about their direct descendants. Second, pre-Islamic Arabs—of whom Palestinians are direct descendants—first appeared only in the 9th century BCE, not in 7000 BCE. Third, in 1946, before the establishment of Modern Israel, Palestinian-Arab leaders themselves only claimed a connection to the land of Israel dating back no further than seventh century CE—when Muhammad’s followers conquered North Africa and the surrounding region. You may also want to ask: What spiritual, cultural, or traditional constructs of the Canaanite people have Palestinian Arabs maintained? The answer is none.

But this should not be surprising. Even the most novice researcher looking into falsehoods perpetrated by Palestinian leaders would quickly find other blatant lies aimed at delegitimizing the history of the Jewish people, like the time Yasser Arafat told Bill Clinton there was never a Jewish temple in Jerusalem, or the time Ekrima Sabri, former Jerusalem mufti and chairman of the Supreme Islamic Council in Jerusalem, said, “After 25 years of digging, archaeologists are unanimous that not a single stone has been found related to Jerusalem’s alleged Jewish history.”

These are the proponents of the false narrative attempting to rebuke the indigenous status of the Jewish people in the land of Israel.

I got involved in this struggle because I was seeing nonindigenous people make arguments that are detrimental to actual indigenous people, arguments that attempt to rewrite our history. The idea that “Palestinian Arab” conquerors could become indigenous through conquering the Jewish people, even though the term “Palestinian” was only used in reference to Jews before 1948, is anathema. While Arabs claim to be related to the descendants of Israel through blood, it’s just another way to say that they acted like all conquerors, raping and pillaging and then settling and subsuming the locals. Native North Americans especially understand that simply conquering indigenous people does not grant one indigenous status.

Building a monument over our sacred places does not make them yours (Mount Rushmore, anyone?) Not any more than UNESCO declaring the Temple Mount to be a Muslim sacred site because they built a mosque over the church that was built over the ruins of the Jewish Temple. It’s a basic tradition in the Western ethos to respect those who came before you; it’s even built into most of our laws to respect prior claim, and that’s what indigenous rights are really all about. Respecting the rights of those who came before you.

Dear Heavenly Father, I ________ (put your name in it) come to the throne of grace, through the blood of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, to receive Your abundant grace and mercy. Lord Jesus, ________ confess You are the Lord of my life. I ask the resurrected power of the Holy Spirit to fill and saturate every part of my being. I surrender all my spirit, soul and body completely to You. Now I ask You to reveal to me, remind me of any sin that I have committed known or unknown, so that I can confess and repent of them accordingly. (Recommendation: quiet yourself, so you can allow the Holy Spirit to reveal to you)

Cleanse me from all the defilement of the world, sanctify me and my family line of any unrighteousness with the blood of Jesus. Now by my own will, I choose to forgive everyone that has offended me or hurt me, I release them into the freedom of my forgiveness. I also release them from the debts they might owe me. I now cast all my burden to You . Your yoke is easy, Your burden is light. I now put on the armor of God that You have given me, gird myself with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit, my feet fitted with the gospel of peace, so that I can pray and intercede in the Holy Spirit by Your mighty power, and after done all to stand firm.
